We rested with my husband from 04/02/11 to 04/09/11 in Desert-Rose-5 *, we went through the Coral tour operators. Departure, meeting, settlement everything is clearly and organized. At the time of arrival there were only 120 tourists in the hotel and, accordingly, not everything worked. There were mostly tourists only from Ukraine and a little from Belarus, who flew through Ukraine. At the end of our holiday, Germans, Canadians and Russians appeared. Then the staff moved a little. In the main restaurant, we had breakfast only on the day of departure, and everything happened in the winter garden. From the food we were pleased with the seafood, especially the huge and very tasty tuna. Alcoholic beverages should not be drunk at all. Rare bullshit. More or less sometimes they could drink their cognac. Gin and tonic, vodka fanta and cocktails are terrible.
It was our 6th trip to various foreign resorts (the second to Egypt) and I agree with Inna that this is the most modest option of all five, we expected the best. Although they had a great rest. It's good that they didn't take a teenage child. He would die out of boredom there. Although we were given 30 min. per day of free internet, 30 min. billiard games. A trifle, but nice. Since there are few tourists, everyone was settled in buildings 6 and 8 - these are considered the best. The rooms really need refurbishment. The room had a shower and a bidet, there was no bathroom. The audibility is very good, especially when people (especially children) are walking along the corridor - there is no need for an alarm clock. From our room there was a door to the neighbors, so because of it we listened to the TV of the neighbors from 5-6 in the morning. 70-80% of tourists - those who are over 50. There were few youth and children. In the room every day, regardless of the tip, the figurines made of towels were very pleasing. The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, large and green. But no one wrote about the wind, there was a very strong wind for 4 days, because of it people got burned. The lagoon is also cold, because. it is artificial and there is a concrete bottom, because of this it does not warm up well. Although this did not stop us from doing aqua aerobics in it every day. Animators from Ukraine and Russia - great fellows, entertained as best they could. They said that in early March, when only Egypt began to receive guests again, there were only 7 tourists for the entire hotel, then 13 (and 6 animators on them))). There were few mosquitoes on the street and flies too, they did not bother us in the room.
When we went shopping outside the hotel, send the Arabs in 2 minutes. They were hungry for tourists for 2 months, so they attacked, grabbed by the hands, everyone tried to sell something. We bought rafatki, and returned to the hotel and bought all the rest of the gifts in the hotel shop.

We really liked the water park. There you can also go down the slides on a circle for one and two people. Very comfortably. I also really liked the beach party "Night by candlelight", the BBQ dinner by the pool with the entertainment program "Belly Dance" for women and men. Summing up, I’ll say that nothing could ruin our vacation, we know how to relax and enjoy our vacation, but we can only return to this hotel if the tours are free or at a completely low price.
Our homeland met us with rain and snow and strong wind, so we really wanted to return to the sun again.
