First time in Hurghada. Before that, there were four times in Sharm. Knowing the peculiarities of the Egyptian holiday, we flew for the sake of the sea and sunbathing. Here I will try to highlight the points to which we paid attention. We are me and my girlfriend. So, in order.
Our flight was delayed by 9 hours. In total - we entered the hotel ~ at 2 am. At the reception for money (60 dollars) we were given a room in the sixth building (number 6314). As it turned out later, it was possible not to pay extra at all (or give 20 dollars). But what's done is done. . .
I liked the number. Neat. Not from scratch, but the hotel is not the first freshness. Everything worked properly, the balcony overlooked the lawn. Quiet, calm. Cleaning - every day. Money (a dollar for cleaning) can not be left. Unless they are interested in lined figures from towels or flower petals on the bed. The bar in the room is replenished with 1.5 liters of drinking water daily.

The territory is large. As for the greenery - it is present. But there is not much abundance. Palm trees, flowers - everything is there. Four swimming pools (with children). The hotel had about 200 people (with a capacity of 2000). Therefore, it is easy to imagine how free it was everywhere - both on the beach and near the pools.
Liked the food. We did not expect any frills, since this was not the first time in Egypt, but the quality of cooking was on the level. Salads are the same as everywhere else there. Chicken, beef, tuna. Rice, potatoes. Melon, dates, citrus. . .
Alcohol - drank beer from local drinks. I think you will not be surprised to hear that basically all our (Slavs) take serious booze with them to duty free.
Animation leaves much to be desired. . . Sluggish guys. As it seemed to us, I do the work "without a twinkle" - for "tick". The disco is run by a local guy. Were there in a day. On the first evening we came there and it turned out that the disco is open until 1:30 at night. Although it was supposed to work until 3:00. And at the reception it was generally said that until the last client. I had to clarify this issue with the administration. Decided. They worked all the way (with us anyway). Music - to put it mildly - not the first freshness. There are not many people (up to twenty people with animators). Animators unanimously dump from the disco at 12:00.
We did not go on excursions - it was a pity there was time.
Sea. That's the main reason why we went. And because of what I gave the hotel only 6 points. The lagoon is very good for children and for lovers of a clean entrance to the sea. BUT the water temperature there did not rise above 20 degrees... And this is with a constant wind near the sea. Badly! The open sea itself is warmer. BUT entry is only through corals. . . No pontoon. There is only a pier where yachts moor. He is tall (two meters above the water). And there is no comfortable entrance to the sea from it (one rusty staircase - I think - technical). In Sharm - much richer marine life. Therefore, I didn’t get any pleasure from snorkeling in Hurghada either. In general, we swam in the sea only once a day (for show). The rest of the time is by the pool.

Overall: Decent hotel. BUT these can be found a lot in Egypt. And the sea is still the main thing... Therefore, next time, if it is Egypt, we will go to Sharm.
