So, having read the reviews of respected vacationers, I realized that I just need to insert my "five cents" here - otherwise many will consider unreasonably poisonous comments an axiom.
I'll start in order. We flew with the airline "MAU" - everything went smoothly, except for the delay of the flight for an hour there and an hour and a half back - well, yes, these are the little things in life. Our operator was Pegas Touristik. We were met at the airport, taken to the hotel - all pretty quickly, without delay. They settled quickly too - of course, at first they gave out the keys to the rooms in the seventh building (if anyone does not know, this is the Salam building, in which the registration desk is located, and it is farthest from the sea, and the rooms in it have a "French" balcony and are very small ones). For ten dollars from a couple they changed to a third building, which has a super location - and to the lagoon-sea, in principle, not far, and a stone's throw from the restaurant, and to the bars. In the middle, in short. The rooms are not bad, the renovation is not super-mega-euro, but it will do - clean and tidy. They cleaned the room every day, despite the fact that we left a tip (5 pounds) at first every other day, and then they completely “scored” this matter.
A few words about the catering system: it is very convenient that the distribution of food is organized almost around the clock! That is, you will not be tied to certain hours of breakfast-lunch-dinner, but you will be able to refresh yourself exactly when you want to. As for the quality of food, it also turned out to be absolutely normal, there is a lot of it, and it was cooked quite tasty. I hope this will help dispel the myth that all vacationers are polluted and admire the unpretentious pattern on the tiles in front of the toilet in the room for the rest of the vacation.

By the way, looking at how some vacationers from the CIS countries (mostly Russians resting in the hotel) row food on plates, it seemed that people had not eaten for a year in order to save up for a ticket, and now they are breaking away with might and main. Comrades, let's be more modest - you don't eat like that at home, for sure. From the side it looks disgusting . . How do you like this scene: an aunt rushing through the main hall of the restaurant with two plates full of food, comes up to a table with bread, takes a few rolls. One of them falls. Aunt silently kicks her away with her foot and goes on, probably to put a couple more cutlets on the plate, otherwise, poor thing, by the time she got to the restaurant, she lost a hundred grams. Others follow her, continuing to kick the bun. And all this is standing and looking at the 16-year-old cleaner of the restaurant. Not with the most satiated eyes. The second example: donuts were fried on the street. We decided to try it with a friend. I left her in line, she went to get tea. I return in ten minutes, and that one... stands in the same place, not moving forward a single step! The bottom line was that all the portions that the chef dumped from the deep fryer into the vat were sorted out by one or two people (and this is thirty or so donuts for a brother). In short, it is not surprising why the same Egyptians have such an opinion about our people.
The territory of the hotel is large and beautiful, well-groomed. The hotel workers constantly clean up the garbage, water the plants, cut them, and so on - even the gobies thrown by one of the vacationers are picked up with their hands... On the beaches, the beds are a little old, but not completely broken, as someone wrote here. The lagoon is an ideal place to just swim, and if you walk a little on the dead coral at the beginning of the sea beach, you can often see various fish there - so it is advisable to go there with slippers, a mask and a snorkel! And swim in a T-shirt, otherwise you will get carried away, and then your back will be bad.
Hotel staff: I liked everyone very much, people are very friendly and helpful, if you treat them with respect and courtesy, you will be rewarded a hundredfold. On the third day, everyone on the beach greeted us, gave advice and recommendations.
A few words about the Pegasus guide Valentina. We have never experienced such a detached and cold attitude towards ourselves. It seemed as if she did not quite understand what we were asking her at all. A very unpleasant person. So, when we asked her to use the Internet for five minutes on the eve of departure to check in for our flight online, she refused, and the guys from Coral immediately agreed. Yes, there, by the way, and the people around them twisted all the time, and they told people everything they were interested in. Seemed friendlier.
What else? Oh yes, there is a Horus shopping center on site. It’s better not to go there at all, because the prices there are an order of magnitude higher than in shops on the street. If you want to shop, you don't even have to go to the city center. Exit the hotel, turn left and walk to the Reemvyera shopping center. You will find everything you need there at a very reasonable price. And in Horus they soar at exorbitant prices, and even try to deceive, they give out cheaper goods for more expensive ones. Especially in the perfume shop.

City: if you want to go to the new or old center of Hurghada, take a taxi. But: get out of the hotel and walk towards the city just a little (to the right). Then catch from your hand. You can drive to Sakkala (the new center) for 15-20 pounds. Don't settle for more. Back the same way. The minibus costs £.1 per person one way. Give money without change, you can not wait for it. The city has a METRO supermarket, fixed prices and a good selection of products, if anything. Although all this is in Reemvyera near the hotel.
The animation is rather weak, although the guys are not bad. Nevertheless, it is unrealistic to take seats at evening shows, people really rake five or six pillows under their asses.
On the beach, by the way, there are also problems with places from time to time, because some people think that they can tie a stupid pareo on four loungers in the evening, and then come to the beach at one o'clock in the afternoon, already at the occupied place.
And so, in general, the holiday turned out wonderful! The hotel is very good, I liked the food, the sea is wonderful, the only negative is the contingent. But you may not notice it, especially if you come to the restaurant some time after the start of the rides of unheard of greed called "Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. "
About excursions: if you are planning a sea trip with snorkeling, then do not buy it from a guide! After all, it will be offered for 50 bucks, and at TIGER Marine on the beach it costs 25 (a very good man from there - Reda, you will probably meet on the beach). And everyone is transported on the same boats, so the stories about the lack of insurance, the importation "in the wrong place", the selection of cameras and the sale to organs in Israel, weed out like garbage. We've been here twice already, and everything is super! Guides simply have kickbacks everywhere - on excursions and in shops, so following their recommendations means simply adding to their salary, but not getting more for your money.

The lagoon teaches surfing. If you have a desire, it's better to go straight to "Makar", as we called him (his real name is Maka or Makab, something like that), very tanned and sooooo thin, you'll know right away). You can take lessons from him for ten bucks. At first, he said that after five in the evening, but then it was already possible to ride at any time - my husband took five hours from him. He really understands surf, unlike Joseph, who advises weakly, does not follow the students in principle, and only lies that he comes from Baden See in Austria, and very convincingly))))))).
Well, that's probably all. I hope my review will help someone overcome doubts and make a decision about this hotel!
Sincerely,
Anna.
