I AM A VERY POSITIVE PERSON. BUT I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH POSITIVE. AND HOW FOUND THE WAY OUT OF THE NIGHTMARE.

Came to Egypt for the 6th time. Rested at Royal Rodjan 5, Sun Rice Eastland View 5, Tatanik Beach Aqua Park and Spa 5, Sia Club 5 (twice). After reading the previous reviews, there was a very ambivalent impression. They were not very flattering, but there were enough good reviews.

Decided to try a new hotel. My daughter (13 years old) and I always have a very positive attitude on vacation. And if there are any negative points, either we try not to attach importance to them, or we correct them correctly. But this time, no positive attitude helped, no matter how hard they tried.
Arrived on 01/05/11. at 19.00.

1. Settlement. To avoid any misunderstandings, I immediately left $ 20 at the reception. We settled in the second building. In the 6th building (it is considered the best, not counting the 8th building) everything was occupied. They promised that tomorrow, if we want, they will move to it.
2. They came to the room: tiny, the plumbing is really all old, as well as the furniture. The beds are small. Plus, the room is separated by a wooden door from the neighbors, and you can hear everything. In general, very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I am silent, I don’t want to panic yet, my daughter also correctly kept silent, for now. We went for dinner, across the territory. The lighting is not very good. The paths were gouged, until they reached it, they almost broke all their legs in heels.

3. Dining room. And it, as it turned out, is really a dining room, reminiscent of catering establishments of the 80s. Places for eating in some compartments without windows, greasy stained-glass windows, dirty walls. I sit and persuade myself: maybe I'm tired from the road, and now it all seems like such a nightmare to me. Maybe tomorrow will be different. There was no appetite at all. Since there was an absolutely negligent attitude of the staff and administration to everything absolutely. We collected all our positive, which we found, took freshly squeezed juice for $ 2 each and went to bed.
4. Territory and meeting with the guide, which decided everything. In the morning we went to meet our guide. We were taken to the so-called conference room, a one-story wooden structure with creaking floors and swaying chairs. And I didn’t feel any better after sleeping. I keep as positive as I can. And I hope that when we go for a walk to the sea, everything will change.

The guide talked a lot, his speech was mainly aimed at promoting tourists for trips. And then, as if by chance, he drops the phrase: “It happens that tourists don’t like something. No need to shout obscenities at the reception and express your dissatisfaction. You come up and quietly say that you do not like. I kept this on hold, just in case.


Let's go for breakfast. I am sitting again in a "cage" without windows, looking at the dirty stained-glass windows and walls and thinking: do I really have to eat here 3 times a day for all 13 days! We urgently need to go to the sea. This should change everything.
5. Shore. The lagoon is really cold. Swimming in it is not realistic. There is still nothing around her. You can only sunbathe. We came to the seashore and then a lump stuck in my throat. Sunset in the sea unkempt area - inconvenient. Swimming is not possible and unpleasant. I know how good it can be from experience, and this fact horrified me. We climbed onto the bridge from old cracked boards with crevices (you can’t walk barefoot), cigarette butts stuck on the sides. The stock of POSITIVE began to melt. The last straw remains - Aqua Park.
6. Aqua Park. What finally finished off is the location: hold on to a chair: practically outside the territory in front of the main entrance from the side of the street there is a small paddling pool, where 4 or 5 slides flock. And there are no sun loungers nearby, no places to rest, then you have to go wet through the entire territory (and it is huge), to a sunbed or to the pool. The last drop of POSITIVE has dried up. And I don’t want any apartments in the 6th building. I ask my daughter how she feels if she can move to Titanic Beach and Spa Aqua Park 5 stars, where we were last year. To which my child took my question with a bang, and then frankly admitted that all this time she was holding back her emotions so as not to spoil our holiday, and that she had a huge depression, looking at this whole nightmare.
7. Way out of the situation. I went to the reception to the guide and said: you talked about all the dissatisfaction to speak quietly, and so I want to move to the Titanic Beach End Spa Aqua Park. And before that, I looked on the Internet that there are places. He wondered why. She said that I don’t have time to waste time listing the shortcomings of the hotel, he doesn’t have time. I don't like anything in it. Within an hour, we were given the go-ahead. Paid $200. For 20 min. gathered for $ 5 caught a taxi. 5 minutes later they were there.


I'll tell you how wonderful it was in the Titanic later. I can say one thing - upon arrival at our own hotel, which has everything, we recognized Egypt. And the POSITIVE returned to us again and did not leave until the end of the holiday.

I know that many will say, for example: you need to come on vacation with POSITIVE or something else like that. But gentlemen, everything should be within reason, and when a major overhaul is crying at the hotel, and what kind of reconstruction is there, no positive attitude will help. Of course, you can persuade yourself and your whole family to believe that everything is fine, but why?
