In Egypt, the 6th time, in Hurghada - the first. Until then, exceptionally good chain hotels in Sharm.
So that's what I want to say - a normal hotel for your money. Tem. who writes that this is not a five - this is the usual budget five. All previous hotels visited by us are many times more expensive, but not at the same times better. In places, something is better for everyone, but their price is different.
Briefly in order:
1) Hurghada Airport - upon arrival, "small Egyptian business" flourishes at the places where migration cards are issued. Together with the card, a visa is glued to you, for which they ask for $ 17. Quite calmly, you can only take a card and buy a visa in the bank window for the standard 15 and paste it yourself for free. I think for those who are not in Egypt for the first time, this is not news.

2) Accommodation - without money will be placed according to the purchased tickets. Not the fact that it's bad. With 10 dollars, you can choose the desired building and floor. We chose the fifth building and the first floor. I love the first floors: ) Our room overlooked the neighboring building. The main thing is silence at night. The room is large - 3 full beds and a lot of space. Cleaning quality is standard. As in all hotels seen so far. Linen changed regularly, towels also. Swans, hearts and more - as expected: ) There were no hotel shampoos, conditioners, balms. It is better to take your own or buy for the same money on the spot.
3) Territory - large, green, well-groomed. Three large pools one after the other. A bunch of bars. Nice big playground. The water park at the very beginning of the hotel is a great pastime after dinner. Recomend for everybody. Slides for all ages - both children have fun and adults are not bored. The hotel ends with a large lagoon, behind it is the sea. Everything is warming up now. During our holiday, every day the water temperature was different, depending on the wind, apparently. The wind is strong - the water is cooler. In the lagoon, oddly enough, the water is 1-2 degrees cooler than the sea. But swimming is still fun. Swimming back and forth in the lagoon is a pleasure. For the sea it is better to buy slippers. $5 is not worth it to sneak into the sea, risking standing on a sharp rock.
4) Meals - that's what everyone writes "canteen". I can still understand those who are for the first time. The rest of the "former not for the first time and have something to compare" sincerely surprise. These public restaurants are plus or minus the same in all hotels. I honestly did not notice any blatant dirt. They clean up everything quickly and efficiently. The restaurant is full of places, there are always laid tables and there is where to land for a meal. If there was a situation that you wanted exactly at a specific table (at dinner on the street, for example), but it had not yet been removed, it was enough to ask the waiter to clean and cover it. 2 minutes and complete order. For the $2 tip left, the whole procedure described above will become even faster and without your verbal participation. Food, again, without any frills, but as in most hotels after the revolution. Vegetables in assortment, both fresh, and stewed, and in batter, and baked. Queues : ) Gentlemen, compatriots, you yourself create queues. Why stand for 5 minutes near each plate, looking for golden, apparently, tomatoes? Why run as fast as you can to the waiter who carries a dish with something and try to put something on your plate on the go. After waiting until such personnel serve themselves, calmly without any queues, you can come up and choose what your heart desires. Side dishes as usual - fried potatoes, baked potatoes, pasta, rice (delicious, by the way), I already wrote about vegetables. Lunch and dinner - always chicken and fish, almost always meat - baked, stewed. A day later for dinner plus a grill. Not luxurious, but you can not only fill your stomach, but eat delicious food. At the entrance to the restaurant there is a vitamin corner - there are fruits and fresh juices for money. The restaurant's selection of fruits is quite modest - oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, dates, sometimes guava. Everything is cut. Strawberries, watermelons, melons, mangoes can be bought both in the hotel itself and in street shops. There is one right in front of the hotel across the road, and there is almost at the entrance to the neighboring Golden Five. It is to the left of the hotel on foot for 10 minutes, do not cross the road. There, the prices are lower, and the seller is very pleasant, which is especially surprising : )
That's what unpleasantly surprised me in the food - it's a la carte delivery of cheese and sausage at breakfast. Usually this good, like shoe polish (s) everywhere. The cheese is bad. For me, there was direct suffering, because my breakfast is a cup of coffee and a piece of cheese. I had to make do with just coffee. Between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner, there is a snack in the bar near the playground - buns in the morning, pizza in the evening, hot dogs, hamburgers. They also bake a decent pizza every day for $5. Taken a few times while skipping lunch. Quite good. In all bars and in the restaurant all day tea (several varieties in bags) and coffee.

5) Animation - again, almost like everywhere else. Who wants to practice, who does not want to lie like a seal on a deck chair. The taste and color, as they say. In the evenings every day a show in the amphitheater, then a disco in the winter garden.
6) The contingent - almost all of us are Russians : ) A bit of Ukrainians and a pinch of Germans. The latter prefer club rooms and a club restaurant. Only smoke then come to the common. "Tagil" for the entire period of rest was seen once, at 2 pm in the pool of the water park. Soon he was taken out by a lifeguard under white hands, because. wanted to climb the hill exclusively from the bottom up, and sent home. Later, apparently, he overslept and changed his mind : ) All the rest behaved in a civilized manner and did not cause shame for the state by their behavior. Well, perhaps the aunts of post-Balzac age, who always need everything ahead of everyone else. Category "I'm just a minute, just ask. "
7) Excursions - nothing was taken for long distances. The child does not tolerate buses, so there was no point. I foolishly took the hammam from the guide. The rubbish is complete. Especially for those who have ever been in real Turkish.
8) The territory behind the hotel - on both sides of the hotel shopping malls in each direction, not to lie, about a kilometer. If you go to the right, there is Cleopatra Bazaar - this is for the haters of bargaining. There prices are fixed. The range is like everywhere else in Egypt.
The majority of tourists are families with children. Lots of kids, different ages. Anyone can find company.
The main thing in any vacation is the ability to do it. Arrived - enjoy the rest, and do not pick holes in the sheets and plastic spoons in the restaurant.
