We just arrived from this hotel two days ago. Huge, clean, green territory is striking at first sight. But let's start with accommodation. There were only two of us from the whole bus who came to rest in Desert Rose, which made me very happy at first. At the reception, we were so fooled with the settlement (but I myself am to blame). They ask "Your wishes for the room? ". Naturally, I answer that I would like a nice room with a sea view. They answer: "These rooms are very expensive. You need to pay extra $ 10 daily. But I can make you a good room if you thank me. Otherwise, your room will be in this building where the reception is. " I somewhat relaxed and replied that of course we would thank you (I thought I would give $ 10). He happily reports: "Here's just one good room I found in building 2 overlooking the main pool. With you $ 20. " I took it out and gave $20. That's stupid, but what to do? We arrived late in the evening, tired and agreed to his terms. The room is large, spacious bathroom with shower, bidet. The view from the 3rd floor balcony was great, the pool lighting is beautiful. Liked the room very much. Although we arrived late, we managed to have dinner, which was also a pleasant fact. Went immediately to see the territory-huge, beautiful. We walked along the lagoon to the seashore - silence, calmness. Bathed at night. The husband immediately stepped on the hedgehog (do not swim at night, hedgehogs crawl out of their holes). But this did not spoil our mood - we arrived in a very good mood and with positive emotions. I want to say that we did not lose them throughout the rest.
I never focus on food - this is not the main thing in a good rest, but I will write a few words to those for whom this question is not the last. A wide variety of delicious dishes had a negative effect on us - we began to skip either breakfast or lunch due to overeating. It was impossible to resist pancakes, fish, seafood, very tasty culinary products, and after all, fruit. Even once there was borscht, of course not the same as at home, but still. Overeat! And along the beach they carried watermelons (a quarter-$2) - a trifle, but nice. The guy cut them into slices, gave forks.
Lots of sunbeds, enough for everyone, no matter what time they came. In the morning I forced my husband to take places (from 5 o’clock in the morning he ran around the hotel and swam in the Olympic pool). But then I realized that I didn’t need to take it - there were enough places for everyone both at sea and in the lagoon. The sea is amazing. You can flounder and aground and swim in the depths to the caral reefs. We were constantly snorkeling in a world of fearless fish. The fish poked their muzzles into the masks, someone fed them a bun from their hands, like chickens (although this is forbidden, but it's ALL INCLUSIVE and it's difficult for Russians to ban anything). We saw a huge turtle, a stingray. We flew by parachute and took beautiful photos of the hotel from above. On the beach of the lagoon, aerobics, dance training, and some kind of business with children are constantly taking place. Teaching windsurfing. Pleasure boats depart from the private pier. Both children and adults ride a camel along the beach.

We went on an excursion to Cairo to the pyramids. A very difficult excursion. There are a lot of gypsies on the pyramids who put all sorts of nonsense into their hands, and then demand money (you can’t take anything from them). Even a policeman drove up to us on a camel, as if allowing us to take a picture with him on the pyramid, and then blocked the road, demanding a dollar. In general, the impression of the pyramids was bad. 5 years ago, the pyramids struck me. But this time they let me inside the pyramid, into the robbers. Didn't feel anything special. We rested from the heat in a comfortable air-conditioned bus. They sailed on a boat on the Nile. Were in the national museum. It was said that it was looted, but believe me, there are a lot of things left to see. We did not have enough time, everything is interesting.
We went diving. Well, this is a special song. I'm diving for the sixth time and I can't stop admiring it, my husband for the first time and was very delighted. At the bottom of the sea they saw a huge, thick moray eel, three meters in length. She climbed between the rocks and froze. At first we thought that it was a dummy and the instructor "leads" tourists to it. But our instructor put us in front of the moray eel, and he swam up to her from the rear and stroked her back. She moved her head, and I have jitters. But I love extreme. I’m sitting, my eyes bulging (I wanted to write that I opened my mouth. But if there wasn’t a hose in my mouth, I would definitely open it in surprise). The husband could not stand it and swam too to stroke the moray eel. She moved even harder. I thought that now rush forward and devour me. Then on the boat they explained to us that they are blind and eat only at night. In general, we liked this adventure. I recommend diving to all beginners. Know the new world.
We went quad biking in the desert. Here I was a beginner, and my husband is already an experienced driver. First time driving. Everyone had their own ATV. I rode right behind the instructor. I experienced a HIGH! . Came to the Bedouins. We ate, looked at the local zoo, rode camels, and even on some typewriters. After all there was a show program with dinner. COOL! I advise.
Every day we went to a karaoke bar, to animation programs in the amphitheater, to dances in the winter garden. Animation abound for both children and adults.
The overall impression of the rest was very good! Well, that's what we were after. We got a lot of positive impressions! And they tried not to notice the bad, although it was not enough. The hotel is adapted for Russian tourists. All the staff knows Russian and is not as boorish as in other hotels where there are few Russians. Very courteous, friendly, do not beg for a tip. We were very comfortable.
Have a good mood and you will have a wonderful rest!
