Russians really like the hotel, they make up 70% of the hotel guests, the remaining 28% are Arabs with their wives and children, and 2% are other foreigners. Moreover, the Russians who have chosen this hotel mainly come from the periphery and you can observe the dominance of fat aunts, grandmothers a la Tagil and men in bodies over 100 kg from the same category with completely burnt faces. But despite this, the hotel staff is very accommodating to everyone.
When checking in, the resourceful Egyptian at the reception offered us to pay him a little and he would give us a "good" room. This is not my first time in Egypt, but before that, somehow no one had demanded money straight off the bat. . . In general, we put him $ 10, for which we received a regular room in the first building, though clearly with windows overlooking the pool. But since we didn’t like the room because of the existing minor flaws, then we changed it completely free of charge to another room, but in the same building. After 4 days, they changed the number again, because of the Arab family with a screaming child who entered the next room. Moved to building 2. Both in the 1st and 2nd buildings there are rooms with old furniture, creaking doors, balcony doors-windows that do not close from the inside, with furniture made of solid wood, but in need of varnishing though. . .

In general, if you settle, then immediately ask at the reception in the 6th building, everyone praised it, it is located opposite the heated pool and the closest building to the sea that does not have a “sea view”.
About food. The food in the main restaurant is excellent, varied, in principle, will satisfy any gourmet. From the a la carte restaurants, we've been everywhere. I celebrated my birthday in Italian - I didn’t like it at all, I didn’t find any Italian food there, except perhaps two types of pizza (Margherita and 4 cheeses) and a lot of Italian words in the fast menu, under which ordinary food is hidden, which you can taste in the main restaurant "Palma". I liked the fish restaurant - especially the Grilled Seafood dish.
The Lebanese restaurant is just super - everything is awesome delicious.
The animation is good.
Of the minuses: the absence of a coral reef, old numbers, a lot of Russians a la tagil
Special attention to the disco: having been there, I got the impression that I got into a club in the late 90s !! ! It's time to update and repair everything, I'm talking about the appearance of the disco club. The music at the disco alternates: one is local Egyptian for the Arab party, the other is our Russian in the style of "Oh my God, what a man... ". Although it was probably stupid to expect otherwise, if the contingent was appropriate.
From the pros: food, service, courtesy of the staff, animation, lagoon, closed from the sea (which is valuable for children).
Summary: you can relax well, but only once.
