Hello, I decided to write a review about my trip to the Al Mas Palace 5 * hotel from January 09.2010 to January 17.2010! I generally don't like to write reviews, but I can't keep silent about this hotel. Like everyone before the trip, having read a bunch of reviews, both good and not very good, thinking that the ticket had already been bought, we flew into the summer with an optimistic mood! Yes, before that we were in Hurghada in a 4+ European standard hotel! Arriving at the Hurghada airport, we were met by the guides of the NTK Intourist, well, nothing special, but everything is clear and very organized! Yes, for those who fly for the first time in the port at the counter where immigration cards are issued, you will be offered to purchase a visa from them for seventeen dollars at a cost of fifteen, this should not be done as bank employees sell it exactly behind your back for 15 dollars, and these 2 dollars are better to give to the porter or room cleaner. Leaving the airport, you are escorted along the chain to the bus, and now we are moving towards the hotel! I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are going to a five-star hotel! Well, here we are, there were a total of fifteen of us in this race! Approaching the reception, we are given keys, cards on a towel, and a magnetic card to turn on the electricity in the room! As usual, we take things and go, then I begin to understand that we are not being taken to the main building of the hotel, but somewhere across the road into the interior of the territory, with which I did not agree and told the porter to carry my things back to the hotel lobby! Approaching the hotel staff, I explained that I was paying for a slightly different thing, namely for a hotel located on the very shore and not inland, they explained to me that there were no rooms, after a certain period of time the manager came out to me and said that the hotel was full and places will be only tomorrow, swearing me that tomorrow will provide another room persuaded the night to spend the night in the room 114 provided to me! People, what was my surprise when my wife and I were brought to this room, I didn’t even expect this from the Egyptian service a 2x2 room with a bed, with no information on the hotel, with a window 50 by 50 cm overlooking the technical yard with electrical panels and air conditioning units which did not make a real sound, two more couples with whom we flew were settled in the same rooms, but one had an even more extreme room with no windows at all. In general, the first impressions of the hotel overwhelmed us, but we came to relax and have fun, so it was hard for us to break something, but our girls were terribly upset!
The next morning at eleven o'clock the manager kept his word and changed our rooms to rooms with windows and at least approximately resembling what we paid for! Of course, the rooms provided were not so hot, everything was extremely old, broken, broken, the bathtub was cracked, the seat on the toilet was constantly falling off, well, in general, atass, but after where we were initially settled, we were glad about this. Further, there is no service, that you leave a dollar tip, that you don’t leave anything changes, dirty greasy carpets on the floor, mattresses on the beds are not the right size, bed linen not completely dried, and they call it a five, nonsense, this is a three, and not even a four I declare with confidence, because there is something to compare with!
The food is monotonous, but you can choose from what to eat, besides, you can eat at all the hotels located on the territory of Golden 5, from experience I can say that you can have breakfast on the drum where, but it’s better to dine in Dimonde. At the same time, you can dine once per vacation in the restaurants of the ala, carte system, these are Russian, Asia, Fish, Promenade terrace Emerald and Italian, I will say this for a change, you can, but in ordinary restaurants there is a choice bigger and tastier, and it's all so show off and temptation!

The territory of the hotel is huge and beautiful, there is a place to take a walk, relax, there is something to take pictures with, I strongly advise you to go to the singing fountains, this is a beautiful doomsday with classical music near the Paradise Hotel. Also, once during the rest, you can order a court for an hour, and minigolf, but I want to say that the equipment is old and gouged, like everything in this hotel. Now about the beach, sun loungers can always be found, entering the sea, there are three options for a slab of cut corals one hundred and fifty meters knee-deep and immediately deep; slowly sinking along the sand, and also tacking between corals, go to the depths with a mask to watch the fish! Also on the territory there are a lot of swimming pools, and a water park. Discotheque, however, the drinks on it are paid, but we usually came to it already prepared!
Drawing a conclusion from the foregoing, I want to say that the most important thing is with what mood you are going to rest, you will get such a rest! But seriously, this is a trio designed more for the recreation of young people who come to relax and have fun without bothering about the number of rooms, service and amenities! I do not recommend relaxing there with children, and not looking for a peaceful peaceful rest there, as you can see from the above, we spent a day fighting for a room!
PS: near the Al Mas Palace hotel, opposite the Sinai bar, there is a shop, people don’t get fooled and don’t buy anything there, the prices are inflated by three or more times, even hard bargaining with them you won’t gain anything much, going to the beach you will be surprised how prices differ , well, if you go outside the hotel to the street where there are a lot of tents... !! ! For example, the average hookah they had at bargaining dropped from a price of one hundred dollars only to fifty, when we bought the same one in shops near the Paradise Hotel for twenty, but this was with skillful bargaining!
