Traveled with my husband in September 2014. In principle, we are not picky, so the beautiful sea smoothed out almost all the shortcomings. I'll start with the benefits first. The area is great! Huge (there is a complex of 5 hotels on it. 3 on the same territory, and two - across the road, but we didn’t go there, there is a solid market... ) and green, in some places the tiles are in broken pieces, but nothing... the main thing, the area is clean and tidy. There are many pools and artificially created lakes on the territory. There is a water park (so-so). We didn’t swim there or there, because. there were many local residents in it, also in clothes, the water from this quickly turned black.
The sea is close (100-200 m), it's beautiful! Very warm and very clean! There is also a sandy beach, where you can see corals. Lots of fish. . . swimming right under you. . . fun. The beach is well maintained, clean, it was a pleasure to be on it. There is a near and far beach. where is the Almaz hotel building. We went to the far one, there were fewer people, especially local residents. There were a lot of sun loungers and umbrellas, there were even mini tables.
The hall where the reception was located was beautiful, it was always possible to escape from the heat there. on the second floor there was a good bar, music, I especially want to mention a man who himself played musical instruments. nice!

Meals for 4. I love vegetables, I liked it. But my husband loves meat, there was not enough of it, or maybe it was quickly sorted out. There were only chicken meat on the grill. Mountains of this meat were imposed on the local population. And the rest - a couple of small pieces. The coffee there is disgusting. Sweets are not very good... of fruits were guava, grapes, oranges (sometimes terrible), bananas. I wanted to eat dates, but they were not there, a couple of times they were green, hard, it was not possible to eat them. Although, the entire hotel area is dotted with date palms.
The fish was of one kind and only fried or stewed, squids were often cooked.
in principle, lunch and dinner were ok, but the breakfasts are just awful. . . their cheeses, sausages and sausages have a lot to be desired. . . you can't eat them! ate boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. I also liked them, like, sour cream. There were almost no salads. range is poor. Maybe it depends on the season... We tried to go to neighboring hotels to eat, there, somehow, it was more decent. But it was allowed to go there an hour before closing. Previously, there were no such rules (we heard from some indignation). beer was given in a small plastic cup. Half foam, half beer. And a limited number, it ended sooo quickly, especially on the beach. how the Russians will come running....they are generally half in the hotel, and half of the local population. Russians and Russians in Africa (impudence and megalomania in 1st place). there were always a lot of people in our restaurant, sometimes there weren’t enough tables, the local population how they come with their kindergarten... (even with babies... there was no food, no free tables... children scream, yell). There was almost no service there, we had to clean up dirty plates after others, look for napkins, cutlery. I had to wait for the plates to be taken out clean... We often came across greasy and dirty cutlery and plates. they can’t cook potatoes at all, they were constantly half-baked. They couldn't even look at the spaghetti. The food is varied, but specific. By the way, my husband had an upset stomach almost every day, and so did my friends. At the reception it was possible to sign up for certain themed restaurants. got into the Mediterranean (I really liked it, even though we felt like in a restaurant) and Italian (self-service, queue for pizza min. 15-20. Beer per person - 1 tbsp. ). The rest did not hit, because. was constantly busy. people correctly wrote that you need to book after 24:00 or early in the morning.
The tours were just class. we got good guides. We went to Luxor and to the sea +. did not regret. Our friends went to the same ones, but on a different day and with a different guide, they were upset, especially by the boorish behavior of the Russians.

Now for the negative. service - 2. the rooms are dirty! The towels in the rooms and the beach towels were dark and all stained. The same applies to bed linen, it was scary to lie down on a pillow and a sheet. As they wrote in previous reviews, the rooms are spacious, but killed, the furniture is old, the bathroom needs to be renovated. We lived in separate houses, such as bungalows. there are glass doors. they tortured us so much... they broke, they broke... they called their master (loma master) several times with a super hammer. to no avail! my husband took my nail file, twisted it a little and we lived like this (the door was already at least held, but on snot) until the end of the departure. we suffered. The carpet in front of the bed was in such a state, as if it had not been washed since the day of purchase. brrr. we cleaned it out of sight under the bed. armchairs in a room of the same kind. Also, the safe in the rooms can be carried away, it is not attached to the wall at all. and constantly asks to change the battery, I had to use manual mode. Yes, there were also good rooms in the new building, which are difficult to get into, they say there are no places, but we and our friends came across such... as they turned off the light. I had to roast in a room without air conditioning. in our hotel (I mean rooms and, like, a restaurant) there was complete unsanitary conditions. Lucky that the bed was one common, and not like friends 2 separate.
We were constantly pestering sellers, and they wanted to sell something. We will dream of van dollar for a long time). They were everywhere!! ! Interestingly, the excursions started normally, and the exit was necessarily through the bazaar. So they got it....People would buy more if they didn’t cling so hard, scaring away tourists. Even when the bus took us to the airport, they took us through the "world of sweets" bazaar, where prices are 3 times higher than at the hotel. there we protarchali from 30 to 50 minutes. Although we could sleep, eat, get together. Strange....
Did you like it? Yes. Would you recommend? well... they're not. Would you return again? NO.
