I'll tell you about our vacation in Hurghada in the period 07.12. 11-17.12. 11. This is not the first time in Egypt, so I will try to give an objective assessment.

Settlement. Having read all sorts of unflattering reviews about the long settlement, they arrived there with an evil mine and pre-prepared speeches for swearing. We arrived at 12 in the morning (check-in, as we later found out, they have from 14:00), sat for half an hour and we were sent for lunch. To my exclamations, they say, “I won’t go anywhere, first settle, and then eat and swim, ” they politely explained that the room would be ready as soon as we arrived from the restaurant. So I had to agree. To our surprise, having eaten and returning to the reception, we were immediately handed the key and settled in an absolutely normal room.

Number. Everything worked, the faucet did not flow, the balcony closed, no bedbugs were found, there was no stench. There is no overhead light in the room, but we, a young couple, did not really care. )) Yes, and the cleaning is lame - the floor and rugs are not cleaned at all, the dust is not wiped off.
Every day we left a dollar for a tip for the cleaner, he changed towels for us every time, made our beds and sculpted swans several times. The bed was changed 2 times in 10 days. We lived in Diamond 6, good location, close both to the sea and to the restaurant, disco and reception.

Nutrition. There are no complaints about the food, everything is delicious. From meat there was always beef, chicken, in the evening they organized themed evenings and served either lamb, or quail, or turkey. There were several types of fish, potatoes, cereals, salads, vegetables (raw and stewed), soups, a wide variety of pastries and sweets. Also, melons, dates, oranges, pomegranates, bananas, persimmons were given from fruits. There was a children's table, which had 2 dishes and a table for diet food. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and pancakes.
In addition to our restaurant, we went to eat in all the restaurants of the complex.
The food is the same everywhere, but the interior in other restaurants is much better and the waiters are dressed neater. Ours, in comparison with others, would have been awarded the title of a canteen. I really liked the interior in Al Mas, there is a panoramic restaurant, overlooking the sea and Hurghada.
There are a la carte restaurants - German, Russian, 2 fish, Egyptian, Asian and Chinese. You need to sign up 1-3 days in advance at the reception from 14:00 to 15:00. We were in the fish, they gave crabs, mussels, all kinds of fish dishes. They also took a ticket for Egyptian, but did not go, because there was a strong wind and it was very cool in the evening, and both restaurants are located on the street.

Beach. The sand was combed every evening, there are a lot of sun loungers, the entrance to the sea is possible even without coral slippers. There were always empty seats, sometimes there were not enough shelters from the wind and a small number of mattresses. The sea is clean, but the corals are dead, so there are not many fish.

Territory. Huge area that you get tired of bypassing.
Guides issue a map upon arrival, because at first it is difficult to find out where everything is.

Animation. Lots of variety, never gets bored. There is volleyball, water aerobics, step aerobics, belly dance lessons, horse playground, clown show. Every other day there are free shows in the nightclub. We were at Cobra Show and Fakir Show, Miss Golden Five, Mister Golden Five, Miss Bikini. Also, the room is given an hour of play for free to choose from: billiards, tennis or golf. We took billiards, but were not very satisfied, because all the equipment is very old and broken.

Tours. We went to the "Discovery" and "Paradise Island" from Turtess, both for $ 40 per person. On the "Discovery" they rode ATVs, spider cars, jeeps and camels, visited the Bedouins and the terrarium.
And everything would be fine, but we were taken on an excursion from the hotel at 8 in the morning (a group of 6 people, of which 3 were children) and until 10 no one even deigned to approach us, especially since we were even without an accompanying guide. When patience began to come to an end and the groups that came later than us, one after another, went on an excursion, we found the administrator there and tried to find out why no one was paying attention to us. And what a surprise it was when he said that they did not pay extra $ 25 to the office and until we pay on the spot, no one will present us with any services. After long trials, we were so exhausted that we were already happy to pay, but no one took such an amount with us, so we had to call the guide to the hotel, call the chef on the spot, communicate with screams and swearing. Please note that in December at 8 am in Hurghada it is not so warm in the open space, even on the contrary it is very cold.

Yes, and the Arabs, when it suits them, refuse to understand you in any language. As a result, completely exhausted and frozen, we were nevertheless attached to a strange group, but the desire to explore the surroundings and enjoy the trip completely disappeared. In addition, due to the lost time and the long search for a return transfer, we were late for lunch at the hotel and were left hungry ((
Not wanting to endure such an attitude in the evening of the same day, they wrote a complaint to the guide to the hotel, and after 2 days, when we left, the guide said that the company did not have enough time (! ) To consider our complaint and therefore they simply did not can give us. This was extremely upsetting, the organization of Turtess is not up to par ...
“Paradise Island” pleased us more, where we swam in the open sea, where the water is very warm, looked at the fish, which for some reason were very few, made a short stop for fishing and actually walked around the island itself.
We were dropped off near Paradis Beach, but remembering the reviews of tourists, we went to Mahme Beach. Why only to? Because this beach was privatized and no one was allowed into the territory. There is a separate excursion to this beach, but our company did not have it in the list of services, so we did not get there. But the sand there is really white and fluffy and the water is so clear that it seems like it is emerald green. We also watched the sunset on the yacht, but after sunset it became very cold, so a separate tip is to take warm clothes with you there. We were satisfied with the tour.
Regarding Cairo, we were assured that everything was fine, as if the passions had subsided there and excursions were already being carried out. But then canceled all trips in that direction for the safety of tourists.

In general, we liked the rest, we went to relax, lie on the beach and not be bored at our leisure. Fully received the expected, did not want to return home.
