To begin with, all Russian tour operators rate this hotel as 4 *, while in Ukraine and Belarus it is 5 *, but this is not the main thing.
The hotel is quite decent, its main advantage is that it is new. The rooms are large, two-room with two TVs and a bar. The service is quite decent, I would even say that it corresponds to 5 *. The staff is friendly, friendly, any wish is fulfilled quickly and efficiently, you don’t have to ask a second time. The only negative if you go in winter is mosquitoes. I recommend taking a "raptor" (which is plugged into an outlet), because. we did not find it in Egypt, we had to use the aerosol products issued by the hotel, and they have an unpleasant "aftertaste". The food at the hotel is decent, the meat was every day (beef and chicken) in different cooking options, there was fish regularly. Spaghetti, potatoes, rice, potato pancakes, all sorts of casseroles, salads and just chopped vegetables. A lot of sweets, fruits every day (although the variety of fruits did not shine, probably winter). We tried to eat on the territory of Golden 5 - both times we got poisoned, although the people eat and nothing. As for the distance from the beach, this is nonsense. It is very useful to take a walk after breakfast for 15 minutes through the green flowering area, and if someone crawls like a turtle and is too lazy to drag his ass, then a train runs regularly for them. The territory at Golden 5 is beautiful, well-groomed. It seems that every bush bloomed. The beach is good, you can always find sun loungers (although we always came late). On the beach there is a place for swimming (without any slippers) and there are coral reefs where it is good to swim in a mask. For lovers of water slides, there is a decent water park, although the pool with a jacuzzi was not working on our arrival. There is a heated swimming pool for frozen people, and despite the air temperature of 25-30 degrees, it was still “drowned”. A very beautiful show "singing fountains" (tourists from other hotels are brought to see this miracle for $ 30 from the "snout"). It is easy to cross the road, there is not much transport in Egypt, and drivers always let pedestrians pass. If you come across a room with a view of the construction, then this can be solved through the reception or a travel agency representative. This is my first time in Egypt and I liked it more than in Turkey. Prices for excursions and other entertainment are half the price, souvenirs and other products are of better quality. It seems to me that the Turks snickered completely. Despite the fact that European residents also rested in Egypt, the attitude was equal to everyone. From excursions I recommend: Super Safari - for little money ($ 65), a lot of positive emotions and various entertainments (buggies, ATVs, camels, donkeys, jeeps, a terrarium, a Bedouin village, stars and a cool open-air show, with a hookah and dinner grill). You can go to SiSkop - a sightseeing tour of Hurghada + viewing coral reefs through the porthole. In general, the rest is well worth the cost. The review was written by the whole family and everyone agrees with it.
