We are planning to go to Egypt in September. When choosing a hotel, only 5 * and only all inclusive were considered. We immediately stopped at the Desert Rose Resort 5 * (it is located opposite, across the road), but then we saw this hotel. We liked that it is relatively new (built in 2008), that it has more territory, 7 restaurants, wi-fi. I didn’t like right away that it is located far from the sea, but for the lazy there goes taf-taf every half hour. Upon arrival, we were immediately given a 2-room suite overlooking the pool, even though we arrived a couple of hours before check-in. I was pleased that the room has direct access to the pool. On the first day, we immediately went on foot to the sea, on the way we went to have lunch at paradise golden five. They were shocked by what they saw: the tables were not cleared, there was no server, the food was terrible. We didn't go there anymore. In TOPAZ, the restaurant is much better - everything is cultural and tasty. During the stay, we visited 3 a la carte restaurants: national, fish, barbecue. They give the same thing only on beautiful plates and in small portions. Only barbecue meat is fried on fire. I advise you to go there. Every evening animation, delicious cocktails are made in the bar at the reception. Immediately we were offered excursions at inflated prices, we refused them and bought them in the city on the market much cheaper.
I also didn’t like that there is a garbage dump right behind the restaurant, it’s impossible to walk past it, so it’s better to go around through the main entrance. In general, we really liked it, the hotel is quiet and calm and suitable for couples with children.
