Selili for a very long time! There were three Arabs behind the reception desk, we were the only ones who needed to be settled, however, it dragged on for an hour. After a tiring wait, we were offered a room on the first floor. I categorically did not want to go to the first one, but, neither for five, nor for ten, nor for $ 15, there were no free rooms above. The room was terrible! Some kind of dirty bathroom, rusty taps, the bedroom smelled of something disgusting, dirty carpets with pieces of earth. A charming guest relation, a Russian girl, Marina, helped. After contacting her, I found a wonderful room on the second floor, clean and comfortable, with a pretty little balcony. Thank her SO MUCH! The room consists of two rooms: a living room and a bedroom. Each has a TV. Several Russian channels. In the bathroom, if we are lucky, there is everything you need, even scales. There is a hair dryer, but it works for two minutes, then overheats and turns off until it cools down. So, either take your own, or forget about styling)))) The water is almost not rusty))))) the main thing is to drain it a little))))
Towels were changed every day: when they left a tip, they spun swans.

TOURS
We took three excursions: "Safari", "Merry Journey" and "El Gouna". Initially, I planned to save money and buy excursions from the locals, but our hotel guide painted in such colors how the Arabs deceive tourists and instead of riding in the desert they ride in the nearby garbage dump, which they decided to play it safe and bought from a tour operator.
SAFARI. Probably, these excursions are still worth buying from a tour operator, since in this case you are guaranteed a Russian guide. If there is a Russian-speaking Arab, you risk not understanding half. In general, I liked it. We rode quads, buggies, camels. We listened to an interesting story about the customs and customs of the Bedouins. We watched the show (so-so). They promised that they would show the starry sky, instead, for a minute everyone had the opportunity to observe a picture with the image of Saturn somewhere far, far away)))
Don't forget to buy an Arafat before this excursion. They will wrap your head with it in Arabic, this will protect you from the sun and sand scorching in the desert. It costs about $1-2. It can be purchased already during the tour, it will cost $ 7 (fixed price). (By the way, everything you need: arafatki, souvenirs, sunscreens, you can buy on the territory of hotels. It is not at all cheaper in the city (sometimes even more expensive) and you will also spend $ 4 on a one-way trip. )

If the group is small, you can buy a memory disc from him, but if you are a crowd, then it’s better not to spend money - flash in the frame several times, and give about $ 30. But, if you still decide in advance that you will buy the disc, focus the attention of the camera-boy on yourself, let him know that you will buy the disc, then he will often take you into the frame.
FUN JOURNEY. Sea excursion on a yacht. Includes: fishing, snorkelling, travel and a stopover on an island paradise. While sailing, we were also entertained with tricks, in general, it was fun!
EL GOUNA. The so-called Egyptian Venice. My mood was spoiled from the very beginning: we were picked up from the hotel at 8:00 (at least that's what it said on the receipt we received from the guide). It was hard to get up, but, oddly enough, we were not late: at eight we were at the reception. Just forgot the receipt. During those 6 minutes that my boyfriend ran to the room for this piece of paper, I learned a lot of new and interesting things about myself from the Arabic guide! He poked me in the face for a long time with a piece of paper on which the time of departure from our hotel was listed as 7:45, was indignant that he had been waiting for me for 25 minutes !! ! Etc. etc.
The guys wanted to make money so much that they sold more seats than there were on the bus. One lady had to take her no longer small daughter on her knees so that everyone could fit. On the way to the yacht, talking with other tourists, we found out that they bought the tour on the beach, from the locals for $35, while we paid $45 (the kind guide Tatyana gave us a discount. Initially, the tour cost $50).
Then we were loaded onto a yacht packed full of Germans. There were really a lot of people, we could hardly find a place for ourselves on the upper deck. This excursion also included: diving with a mask, fishing, in addition to this, a visit to the aquarium and a tour of El Gouna itself.
The dive took place, but besides us, at that moment, five more yachts stopped there, and in order to get to the reef with the coveted fish, we had to swim around all these yachts, forming rather big oil spots around them. It was terrible!
The desire to dive for the second time somehow disappeared right away..... Then I decided to go fishing. The day before, when we swam on a Merry Journey, I managed to catch one fish, I wanted to try more, but it wasn’t there. The "jolly" Germans in droves began at that moment to chirp in the upper decks. What kind of fishing are you talking about here? But even when they sailed away to the reef, NOBODY CATCHED ANYTHING!! ! Not a single person, not a single fish!! ! The depth was not the same, and there were almost no fish there!
Visiting the aquarium just canceled! We just didn't go there! Already on the yacht we were informed that the aquarium was under restoration. It is strange that our guide Tatyana somehow “forgot” to mention this when she pushed us for an excursion for $ 10 more !! ! Apparently, not only the Arabs are deceiving......
The El Gouna tour was "awesome"! At the very peak of the heat, under the scorching sun, we sailed along the canals and listened to the guide, who talked about what is most interesting and best to visit this resort town in the evening, when it is not so hot, and the night life comes to life, decorating it with thousands of lights..... ))))) We quickly reached the goal of our excursion, namely a cafe, which, apparently, cooperates with the guide. There we were offered everything, too, non-alcoholic beer and ice cream for $ 4. After resting there for 15 minutes, we safely returned to the yacht and after 15 - 20 minutes we already moored to the shore. After waiting, according to tradition, for the Germans beloved by the Arabs, we finally went to the hotels! Summary: waste of time and money!
SERVICE
Our eviction from the hotel completely spoiled the impression of the country. The departure was late - 20:20. We were picked up at 4:30 pm. As you know, according to international rules, eviction from the room is at 12:00, that is, somewhere it was necessary to hang out for four and a half hours. The hotel guide explained to us that we have the right to ask for a duty room after check-out in order to be able not to sit in the lobby but go for a swim, then clean up in this very duty room.
Again, having decided not to risk and not deny ourselves the comfort, we extended the number to three, paying $ 20 for each. But, when we came to pay for the renewal, it turned out that $ 40 is purely a number, if we want to leave bracelets as well, it's another $ 20 per person! Why, you ask, did we pay 40? After all, we just had the right to demand a number for free? ! As a result, we handed in the bracelets at 12:00, but instead of them we received a card with the right to have lunch in the main restaurant and use all the bars)))) That is, they simply tried to scam us for 40 &.
On the way to the airport, they didn’t forget to take us to a shop, where it was offered at exorbitant prices to buy magnets, souvenirs and... Turkish Turkish delight....))) The store is Turkish))))
