Before flying to Topaz on vacation, I re-read every review several times, and now I want to leave my own for those lucky ones who have yet to stay in this hotel)))
ROOM - I’ll immediately make a reservation that the quality of the repair left much to be desired - the hook in the bathroom was broken off, the bedside table gaped with holes from the broken doors, the closet opened with difficulty (we got room 430 on the first floor), but the living conditions that we were created in This room, without exaggeration, can be called wonderful - every day cleaning, changing towels, for two weeks of stay, the bed was changed six times. Various funny figures were twirling on the beds, twice during the entire vacation they brought a huge number of bottles of clean drinking water, despite the fact that there were three of us, we could not drink everything))). In general, it was always pleasant to return to the room and stay in it, despite these shortcomings.
HOTEL STAFF - well done! ! At the reception they always helped with any questions, I want to express special gratitude to the girls of the guest relay - we probably tortured them with our questions, but we always received full answers to everything, so our vacation was very comfortable. By the way, there was always a weather forecast for three days on the table, so we could plan excursions - sea excursions - for a day when the wind was light, and a safari - when the air temperature was cooler.
STAFF OF THE MAIN RESTAURANT - a little slow, although there were a few people during my vacation - dirty dishes in the first days could stand until the end of the meal and the nearby waiter did not react to this in any way. Once, in order to draw attention to myself, I built a pyramid of dirty plates and tureens, crowning it all with a tea cup - and only then the dishes were removed. But by the end of the holiday, I noticed that the service had improved significantly, not only did they immediately remove the plates, but even poured tea, probably, they had some kind of training with the staff.
TERRITORY - Large, beautiful, a lot of greenery, flowers, palm trees, various figures. In the evenings, walking under the stars, it is very pleasant to inhale the aroma of flowering tangerine trees, admire the beautifully illuminated lawns. But, as my husband said, a good foreman is clearly not enough))). Well, quite a bit would be needed - in some places to tint, to correct the lanterns that were lopsided in places, to slightly repair the chipped paths, to glue the tiles that had fallen off in places, to repair the potholes near the lions flaunting on the bridge to the beach - and this territory will not be worth the price !!!!
But in general, the complex itself leaves the most favorable impressions.
MEDICINE - because I am not the first time abroad and I sometimes had to go to the doctor on vacation, so I can safely say that I have never met such an attentive and professional attitude of the medical staff anywhere. Therefore, I advise you - do not be afraid to contact the clinic with your problems, do not suffer the whole vacation - they will really meet you with a smile and understanding, and most importantly, they will provide qualified assistance for free. You just need to immediately take your passport, voucher and insurance with you, so as not to run after all this later.
NUTRITION. I feel infinitely sorry for those people who wrote that they were hungry or the food for them was monotonous and tasteless, but on the other hand, that’s how they should be !!!
The food there is a solid five. Let's start with the fact that the hotel provides an opportunity to visit nine a la carte restaurants. Each of the restaurants is interesting in its own way, the staff is polite, trying. Dishes sometimes duplicate those that can be taken in the main restaurant, but for me the most important thing is the feeling of a holiday, for which these restaurants were actually created, otherwise why go to them at all? And there is no need to be indignant that in a Russian restaurant they didn’t memorize borscht for you personally or you had to wait. while hot Italian is served, you will fix all these moments at home, but for now I advise you to relax and have fun.
In addition to the main restaurant in Topaz, you can eat in all other restaurants of the complex, but not during the first hour of their work. In front of the entrance to each restaurant there is a schedule when guests from other hotels can come - you just need to remember it and that's it!
Food throughout the complex is fresh, there is always a choice. And I don't understand how people "get bored"? ! And the morning coffee and the golden color of the sun are you too "bored"?! ! Yes, there is food that is unusual for us, there are spices that we don’t like - but you don’t have to scoop up full plates and then leave them, take a little and try it ! ! Ehh, now I would crumple a plate of that awesomely delicious hot mashed potato with butter and baked crust with a piece of fried fish and ground fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers))))
There is a huge variety of pastries - from puffs and cookies in the morning to lush fruit cakes with cream in the evenings - in general, goodbye waist)))
BINGE. Personally, I had enough. Beer is really poured into small plastic cups and given no more than three in hand, well, for me it was not a particular tragedy - just think, for me it's just one serving, divided into three parts, then you can calmly come up for the second and third) ))) Of the stronger drinks, I preferred gin-sprite-mint syrup or whiskey with cola, so I don’t see the point in investing in alcohol in duty free. For those who want to drink, there is always an opportunity)))). I highly recommend Topaza cappuccino in the lobby - very tasty, especially if you add a little brandy there.
WEATHER AND THE SEA - we rested from February 25 to March 10. On the 25th it was generally 18 degrees + a strong cold wind, so no one was swimming. On the 26th it was about 20 degrees, but with a strong wind. Until the end of the holiday, the air temperature gradually increased, but, unfortunately, the wind was always there. The evenings are quite cool, so warm clothes will come in handy. As for the water temperature, according to my feelings, swimming in the Red Sea during this period is reminiscent of swimming in the Black Sea on May Day holidays. In order to enter the water, you need time, but you don’t need time to get out of it under a strong cold wind - you fly behind the fence and, shaking your teeth, change into a dry spare swimsuit. But I brought a wonderful tan, even better than in summer!
So, you can write a lot, but I want to end my story by saying that I liked the stay at the Topaz Hotel and the entire Golden Fife complex ! ! I am very happy for those who will go on vacation to this wonderful place. I highly recommend this network for young people, because. the animation is very good.
