Good day to all. My wife and I stayed at the hotel at the end of February. When choosing a tour, there were not yet so many negative reviews about this hotel. For me, this is the sixth hotel in a row, so there is something to compare.
The main advantage of the hotel is its location. Not far from the center of Hurghada, in a new area under construction. After dinner or at any other time, you can leave the hotel and walk along the wide shopping streets, go to a couple of shops and in the fifth of them still buy a bag for your wife, smoke a hookah, lazily sorting through souvenirs that are already disgusting, or just walk past a string of expensive tourist and conference hotels, having reached the beautiful minaret and turn back. A Carefour supermarket is a five minute walk from the hotel. We often bought water, juices, ice cream there.
On one of these evening outings, we approached a guy who sold fruit on the street. And we saw strawberries. Like in that joke: “When do you get your first strawberry? ”. The smell was very strong and fresh, the berries seemed to be strong, and we decided to buy a try. The guy wanted two dollars a kilo. Of course, we bought one and a half. We liked the February strawberries so much that a day later we came to him again. And on the last day of rest they came again. I had to wait until they brought a fresh batch of strawberries. We got talking. It turned out that the guy's name was George. Typical Egyptian name. George made us a hookah for free as regular customers. Well, as a result, we took one and a half kilograms of strawberries for one dollar.

The main disadvantage of the hotel is the constant crowding and chipped dishes in the main restaurant. For such a large number of vacationers, the room is simply small. We tried to come not at the most "rush hour", but there were almost always queues for food. A huge number of children who run and squeal, like on a playground. Water or juice spilled by someone on the floor was not immediately wiped up. Sometimes they did not wipe even after the third reminder. It's hard to find a free table for dinner. In general, the food is below average for Egypt. There was always enough dishes, but all the dishes were chipped. In general, chipped dishes are an indicator of the level of the hotel. Sometimes I just couldn't find a chipped plate or cup. This is a disgrace to the managers. I have never seen such a situation in any hotel.
The beach at the hotel is relatively small, but comfortable - due to the artificial lagoon that unites two neighboring hotels. In the middle of the lagoon there is a sunbathing area with an indispensable beach bar in such cases. But the ladders that go down from the platform to the water are uncomfortable, with small uncomfortable handrails, so for the whole time of the vacation my wife could not go down from them and swim at a depth where the water is warmer. There were always enough free places on the beach until the children from Belarus stopped by. The Germans come to Egypt exclusively to swell and lie down near the pool. Accordingly, before dinner they slept off after yesterday, but all the sunbeds near the pool were neatly covered with towels. And in the afternoon, when the tide is low, the pool is simply not overcrowded.
The furniture in the rooms is old but neat. Everything is functioning. Cleaned in the room every day, but C grade. A dollar or two left on the bed did not affect the quality of cleaning.
The hotel area is small but well maintained. Almost every day after five in the evening, when the sea and pools are closed, a smoke starter drives around the territory, which is designed to scare away mosquitoes. In fact, mosquitoes are not getting smaller. All the locals are used to it.
A few words about the evening animation. Kids disco is sacred, Mr. and Mrs. Hotel are like a cannon, but otherwise the program does not shine with either variety or quality of performance. Plus, the site where all this happens is quite small and minus - a huge number of mosquitoes. So it's better to spend the evenings still in the room. Or on a walk. Which is what we did.
All people are different and everyone needs their own rest. For us, it was a small piece of summer in the middle of the Kiev winter. However, despite the received positive impressions, we will not go to this hotel again.
