I stayed in this hotel from 18.04 to 26.04. In general, the holiday was a success. The hotel is small, cozy, the area is large and green. The beach is sandy and there are some stones, there were always enough sunbeds. The room was on the 2nd floor - a normal room, the furniture is oldish, the air conditioner is noisy, the bathroom is not bad - the water was constantly hot. The room is not the most important thing - you are in it only a few hours a day!!!!
Breakfast is a little monotonous, but the choice of food is large, so it was possible to combine. But there are no complaints about lunches and dinners - everything was very tasty, a lot and varied (vegetables min. 10 different dishes, side dishes - 5-6, meat 8-9 types) + pastries and fruits. Enough even for the most prejudiced gourmet. The only thing was that there were few fruits - oranges, dates, guava. Something exotic was missing - mango, and so on.
As for the staff - generally polite and helpful, especially when you get to know everyone. I did not notice any disadvantage regarding belonging to the Russian-speaking population. The same attitude was towards the Germans. Local drinks are just awful, so drink either red wine or beer - cold and weak....

The only thing I didn't like was that my cleaner is a little arrogant and didn't clean very well after I sent him off, and the towels that were given out on the beach are terrible, so don't be lazy - buy a normal one for the beach for $5-7.
The water is just class, warm and so clean that at a depth of 4 meters you could see the bottom even without a mask, but even with it... There are remnants of a coral reef with a small number of fish and hedgehogs (be careful not to step on hedgehogs! ). Just do not use the services of a massage therapist on the beach - such an annoying type, although cute, pretends to be a doctor. From him a doctor, like from me a camel - a divorce of the purest water.
From the excursions I was in Cairo, Luxor and Paradise Island - I highly recommend (for $ 10 a whole day in the sea, corals, and an island with sand - beauty, and of course lunch). Moto safari was recommended - but there was no time. As usual, I didn't want to leave. . .
Yes, I went to rest alone (26 years old), they scared me - don’t go alone, be afraid of everyone - they will steal - all this is nonsense. There are a lot of police around day and night, so you feel absolutely calm. I tried to land alone at night (4 am) - so I threatened him with the police - as the wind blew it away, I was very afraid. If one of the tourists complains to the police about the seller, he is immediately fired until the store closes. So take it easy. When I went to the very center of Hurghada in the evening - so of course it was dumb for one - one local population, one was scared, so the girls alone do not poke your head out of harm's way. It's easy to find a company for yourself - and Russians, Ukrainians, Germans, Dutch, so don't be afraid to go alone - it won't be boring.
I don’t recommend starting close relationships with locals - remember - you have up to 50 of them in a season. for everyone, and even more so AIDS is rampant there. Of course, who goes there for what...

I recommend taking excursions NOT in the hotel, but on the street. Firstly cheaper, secondly the same. And it is much more convenient to walk around the museum in a small group of 15-20 people than to wait for more than 40 until everyone gathers and the museum in Cairo is very noisy and the guide will not be heard. Of course, until you see and understand for yourself, you don’t take all the stories seriously. So it's up to you to decide.
CONCLUSION: the hotel is normal, the food is very good, the weather is super, the rest in general is unforgettable! I will definitely go again in 2 years!
