We rested at the Jasmine Hotel from April 19 to May 4.2008. I would like to share my impressions.
I'll start with a big shout out to all the staff at this hotel. I know they read these reviews. In particular: Olya from the reception, Kolya, Yana and others from the animation group - a huge hello to you and thank you very much for the welcome and your attitude!! ! David - big hello! Don't get mad when you lose! Everything was just great! We really enjoyed! Please do not quit anywhere, we are going to you next year!
And now the most important thing. We lived in the Jasmine Hotel - 4 stars, but had the good fortune to compare it with Aladdin and Ali Baba - 5 stars.

The most important thing for which we go to Egypt is the SEA. I'll tell you a little about the beaches of all three hotels. Jasmine Beach is the best beach on the coast of Hurghada. Pure sand and beautiful sea. We went and looked at all the beaches. In Aladdin, the beach still didn’t go anywhere, there are a lot of stones and an uncomfortable entry. But when we came to the beach of the five-star Ali Baba, we were shocked! There was an impression that there used to be a coarse gravel plant in the place of this hotel, it was demolished, a hotel was built, and they forgot to remove the finished product warehouse! Just horror, what - something! To enter the sea, two paths have been cleared, you need to walk about twenty meters, only then the sand begins. No, we do not need such a beach!! ! So they all go to sunbathe and swim on Jasmine Beach.
I'll start with the numbers. We had a double room on the central alley next to the zoo. It is interesting to look at a person who smelled all the time. Walked day and night - no smell! I visited the rooms of other hotels - there is no difference, even the lamps on the walls are the same. I don’t understand why rent a room with bells and whistles if you only come to sleep in it. We got up in the morning and went to the sea, then all the entertainment, we only came to the room to take a shower and spend the night. All three hotels have identical individual air conditioners, mini bars, beds. The only thing in the rooms that have been built in recent years is the furniture is newer. AND EVERYTHING!!!
Now - the kitchen. On the territory of the hotel, in addition to bars, there are 5 restaurants, though I didn’t notice much diversity in the main restaurant, but we didn’t go hungry. And yes, I didn't want to eat. But if we wanted variety, we went to different restaurants, including Aladdin and Ali Baba hotels. Most of all I liked the kitchen in Aladdin, and the service is the same everywhere. We never waited for a drink, they brought it to us very quickly, and if we had to wait a bit, then it was not a burden for us to walk to the bar ourselves. We did not break, it was very interesting for us to communicate with the staff. And, by the way, the attitude towards us was corresponding.
A little about housekeeping. During our stay at the hotel, we have never felt the lack of towels. The room was always cleaned for us, the water in the bar was replenished daily. The floors were washed with fragrances, so the room smelled nice. Almost every day they wove swans for us and decorated the bed with flowers. It was so cool!! ! If there was a Do Not Disturb sign, no one ever entered. We have no complaints about housekeeping.

Now - about the pool. In Jasmine, it is small, but very cozy. On its territory, in addition to eight (if I remember correctly) huge tents, there are many umbrellas, and most importantly, a lot of greenery. In Egypt, the sun is hot and sunbathing in the open sun is very dangerous. Therefore, a shadow is needed, and there is a lot of it in the Jasmine pool. So they come here to rest from all three hotels. If you look at the Ali-Baba pool, it is very large and beautiful. There is a bar on the water, but nowhere to hide from the sun.
And now it's time to talk about animation. Jasmine has a wonderful team of animators led by David. All the guys speak at least two languages, and David speaks three. When the animation took place, all the phrases were repeated in three languages - Russian, English and German. Everything was clear to everyone and everyone was pleased that everyone understood. We were not loaded with entertainment all day long, there was time to relax, sunbathe, swim and have fun. We were visited from other hotels for the evening show. I want to tell you about one trip to the evening show in Aladdin. They chose Miss Aladdin. The host speaks only Italian, there are Russian speakers in the hall, a few English speakers and Germans. And he's Italian. Communication between the deaf and the dumb. They put a chair on the stage, they put a boy on it. A competition was announced, from the whole task we understood only one word "striptease". Roofing felts need to undress the fry, roofing felts itself. We spat and went to our animators.
From all of the above, I concluded for myself that if you want to overpay for "pants", the flag is in your hands. And I would like to appeal to those who did not like the Jasmine Hotel - never take vouchers there, please !! ! We'll get more of them!! ! And also read the review of Lilu9510, very useful information. Have a nice holiday!! !
