We have a rest in Egypt not for the first year and more than once (in spring and autumn). I would like to share my observations and impressions about this country, about our compatriots and give some advice to those who are just going on vacation.
Hotel selection.
All hotels in Egypt are the same! When choosing a hotel, I advise you not to be based only on reviews on the Internet. Good reviews are rarely written. Try to find people who have vacationed in this country and in the hotel you are interested in. The most important thing is that these are people you trust - friends, relatives, buddies, colleagues, colleagues. Talk to them personally. Let them show you the pictures.

If you are a person with heightened ambitions, if you think that you came on an all-inclusive package and now you have to walk on your hind legs in front of you, if you think that you should bring coffee to bed - believe me, holidays in Egypt and even more so "economy class" is not your option! I advise you to choose Spain, Bulgaria, UAE, Thailand, Cyprus, and, at worst, Turkey. Believe me, tourism in Egypt is just beginning to develop. If the most important thing for you is the beautiful sea with its beauty, year-round sun and sandy beaches, and only then how many times a day you changed towels, a variety of cuisine and other minor troubles - feel free to fly to Egypt !!!
Now further.
You have decided on a hotel, purchased a tour, and now you get off the ladder. Let me give you some advice. First, upon arrival, immediately at the reception, try to win over the staff. SMILE MORE! Say that you came here on the recommendation of friends or relatives that they really liked it. Don't skimp on compliments, even if you don't like something. Smiling has never harmed anyone, quite the contrary. Try on the very first day to get acquainted with the waiter in the restaurant and bar, with the head of the hall in the restaurant, with the cleaner. Say hello and preferably with a smile, many problems will go away by themselves. Another important note - NEVER SCANDAL WITH THE STAFF!! ! Do not shake your rights, do not bang your fist on the table, believe me, it will only get worse. You will do everything for evil. Understand for yourself - they are at home, and you are visiting, you will leave in two weeks, and they will stay, they will tolerate you for these two weeks and laugh at you, and your vacation will be ruined FOREVER! Why are you in such trouble. Even if you have some problems, go to the reception and politely ask: "We like everything here, you have a wonderful hotel, but we had a small problem. We have no complaints, but.......". Believe me, the problem will be solved right there. Say "thank you" more often. Even if you don't like something, don't talk about it. On the contrary, praise and skimp on flattery.
And another important piece of advice. If you do not know English, learn at least the key phrases, it will be easier for you, and you will be treated better.

DON'T SPEND ON TIPS! It is not true that Russians in Egypt do not like! Russians are very loved and respected. But if you are from Moscow, don't tell anyone!! ! Muscovites are hated even in Egypt! Say better that you are from the center of the country. Let's get back to tea. When meeting a waiter in a bar and a restaurant, with a senior in the hall, with a cleaner, and somewhere in the middle of your stay, give them a dollar, I don’t think it will be burdensome for you, but the effect will be breathtaking, you will not prolong . You will be welcome always and everywhere!!!
Don't ruin your vacation!
And about the hotel Jasmine I can only say one thing - a very good hotel. Our friends ate there and we are going there in a week. If you do not bend the show-off, then everything will be fine.
HAVE A GREAT REST!! !
