My husband and I arrived in Egypt for the first time... and ended up in such a hotel. Needs renovation, very poorly cleaned, hygiene is low. The food is almost monotonous, except for scrambled eggs in the morning. But you won't die of hunger. Cups without handles, cracked, they were always missing. To be fair, some of the waiters and the chef treated us very well (maybe we were different from others, did not get drunk and behaved calmly).
The plumbing in the room is in poor condition. The faucet staggers, the water in the washbasin is clogged, the water in the toilet takes a long time to fill, the water from the shower is either cold or boiling water and barely flows. But somehow we got used to it. Good thing there was water!
They drove to the beach for free on an old collapsing Suzuki (bus). The beach is free, but you can’t bring anything from food with you, even bottled water, they check at the entrance. Like, they have a bar there, and order there (for a fee, of course). The beach is small, with sunbeds, umbrellas and boat parking. But the water is clear, warm and with colored fish. Swim only with a mask, then a complete pleasure.
In general, next time you need only a 5-star.
