We celebrated the new year in Egypt.
For us, the main thing was the sea and corals. Therefore, the main criterion for choosing a hotel was the presence of a coral reef. We stayed at the King Tut Hotel.
We were set up for a good rest, so they did not pay attention to unpleasant little things.
We liked the flight to Hurghada, they offered drinks all the time, the flight was not delayed, we were greeted with posters, everyone was seated on mini-buses.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was slightly shocked, we were told that the hotel area was small, but even that was said too loudly. The hotel has no territory at all. There is only a small path to the beach, very well maintained and on which there are 4 shops. But this did not stop us, we went for a walk in the city. The pool on the territory is heated, but they only turn it on when the sea is cold, especially since the pool itself is in the shade and I only saw someone swimming in it once. The hotel is very beautiful, stylized as a tomb. True, it seems that since the time of construction it has not been repaired even once. We had a broken cabinet handle in our room.
We got a room with a view of the construction site, although if you stand at a certain angle, you can see the sea. We decided not to pay attention to such things, since we only came to the room to change clothes and sleep. Construction was completely inaudible. I don't sleep as well at home as I used to sleep there. They fed well. There really isn't much variety. Those. almost the same food is cooked every day. But even my picky husband did not complain. The sweet there is simply amazing, but we didn’t crawl to it, we ate the rest. Rooms were cleaned every day, towels changed.
I can't complain about the cleanliness. The animation suited us, although the people were very lethargic, it was hard to raise them. Before the new year, there were few people, it was generally super, but when the hotel was full by the new year, it was no longer so fun. there were sometimes queues for food and it was already more difficult to find a place in the hall. Well, of course, we didn’t have a New Year, it was just a good holiday. Without snow and a Christmas tree, it's still not a new year.
Excursions were taken from the tour operator, although we were offered cheaper right on the beach. We decided to pay a little more, but be calm. We were very pleased with the excursions. We took an excursion to Luxor and diving.
