In Egypt, not the first time, in Hurghada, the first and probably the last, "a constant light breeze that blows away the heat" (from the brochure, has nothing to do with the hotel) hesitated. A very large hotel, under 1000 rooms, I have not been to this yet, it was mostly in family rooms for 250-350 rooms. The territory is large, quite green, stylistically not framed in any way. A beautiful cascade with bridges and channels connecting the pools.
There were 7 of us traveling. We can say that we were lucky, they settled EVERYONE in one building in family rooms at the very entrance to the hotel (they didn’t give money, they just said: we need to be nearby), far from the sea, but close to everything else: lobby, restaurant, bars, and to the sea and you can walk slowly : ))) There is with and without a balcony, we got without and we didn’t die : ))) And it would be possible to get to the mountain, where you can climb up the stairs, although you can go there and from there cars, but you have to wait for them (although where to rush on vacation? ), you can get close to the sea, but far from civilization, which is also not bad, only you will now need to walk to the restaurant (see the hotel map). In short, you have to go anywhere! The furniture, of course, is a little old, but the bed is decent (in any case, a large undivided one) and we can’t live there. LCD TV, there are enough Russian channels, I didn’t watch it, I immediately even turned it off from the outlet (there weren’t enough outlets for me). The AC works and adjusts well. The bathroom is small, the bath with a shower is not very comfortable, the shower is built into the wall and, although it is adjustable, it is not very convenient for a tall person. Hot water is ok. Cleaning is so-so, it makes no sense to leave money, it makes sense to complain to the elder, who periodically goes to the rooms and asks: how is the cleaning? He cleaners and inserts, if anything. Although the cleaners and felt boots (or fat asses? ): either they won’t put coffee and tea, or they’ll forget sugar and cream (or steal? ), Or they won’t update the air conditioner with soap. We also always tried to get out and come when the siesta after dinner and broke, bitch, outrageously persistent. Was sent repeatedly, the phrase, come before dinner, refused to understand.
Restaurant. Food. As usual in Egypt, there is nothing to eat : )))) For breakfast, eggs, scrambled eggs, cereals, all sorts of dry byaki with milk, cut fruit, rolls, pastries, cheese, sausage. Lunch and dinner: chicken, fish dry-fried and in sauce, beef, usually stewed, mashed and fried potatoes, pasta and pasta, which will be cooked especially for you (it’s not for nothing that the main restaurant is called al dente), soups of two types, pizza, vegetables in a huge assortment, fried zucchini and blue ones, a large number of desserts, fruits: melon, dates, grapes, guava, pears, pomegranates (probably depends on the season). Grill for dinner. As one Khokhlukha said: there is nothing, there is no fat! There is always enough food, no matter what time you go, they always bring you what ends. There are also enough tables, they are cleaned and served promptly, i. е. it makes no sense to rush to the opening of the restaurant, it may even be easier to walk closer to the closing IMHO. In short, there are no complaints about the zhrachka (only if you are not a gourmet and not a fan of lard and borscht : ))).

Bars and alcohol: standard, local, for everyone, something edible, something not. Beer in pharaoh kegs and stella bottles, ordinary, light, which can be drunk in incredible quantities. French fries are fried at the barena beach, pizza is fried by the main pool, boutiques and ice cream are just lying somewhere (all in time). There are many bars: three by the pools and two on the beach (open until sunset). Two are open until late: in the lobby and Aqua, another one next to the amphitheater, during animation. Yuppie juices (there are no freshly squeezed juices in the Hilton, as before, in any case, in this Hilton).
The staff is indifferent, friendly, hassle-free. They just smile and do their job (so many people turn over that, probably, they don’t even try to remember us). Although, if you periodically send a dollar to the bartenders, they will begin to remember and show care, although this is not necessary, the bartenders are already quite lively, they serve quickly and there was no particular disregard. By the way, they are constantly thrown from bar to bar.
Animation Entertainment: almost none, almost invisible and sluggish. Yes, if they invite you to a disco for bucks, don't be fooled, it's terrible bullshit. For money, you will only be served alcohol at the disco until the morning (probably I can’t stand it for so long), for which you can go up to the bar (until 23.00). Club music is dull.
Sea and beach: similar to Nabq in Sheikh, the sea is shallow, go far to the depths along the neck, just right for children, sand. For lovers of depth - you have to go to the pontoon, there are fish there and even a lot, which is not typical for Hurghada. In short, whoever wants what he will find, if he moves.
Excursions, if local, it is better to take either on the beach, or find agents according to reviews, it will be the same, only up to 2 times cheaper compared to a hotel guide. I won’t say anything about distant ones, this time I didn’t go anywhere.
In short: the hotel justifies itself for 4, not super, but it doesn’t suck either, especially if you don’t bother and bend your fingers, but just relax.
