We went to rest with friends and somehow synchronously suggested this hotel to each other for consideration. We decided - we must take it, and the price was very pleasant for him!
We knew that the territory was huge, so upon arrival at the reception they showed a map and said exactly where we wanted to settle. For an additional $20 per couple, we were given chic rooms! Just huge in size, exit to the terrace with a beautiful view. In a word - paradise!
Wi-fi was only normal in the main building, we bought local Vodafone cards, the Internet worked without problems.
The hotel is a little "tired", but exudes shabby chic. All the furniture in the room is wooden, solid, but there are chips and scratches. The same situation is in restaurants, on beaches with sun loungers, mattresses and some beach towels are also already asking for retirement. Moreover, the landscapes are wonderful, there is greenery around, everything is well-groomed, gardeners were constantly working. By the way, we watched a picture of a worker picking yellow grass MANUALLY from the lawn. Apparently, that is why the lawn is just like an expensive carpet, the legs were buried in the grass, an indescribable feeling! The beach corresponds to the name of the hotel - it is sooooo long))) There are also small bays with a constant tide of sea water, but it is colder there than in the sea. The entry into the sea is good, but shallow - we walked more than 500 steps, but we did not find a depth above the level to the priests (with a height of 165 cm). There is a pontoon, the guys swam there once, they didn’t go anymore, it’s far)))
The food was great too! A varied menu: fish, poultry, and beef. On the first day, they even gave crabs, we were just stunned! Fresh and stewed vegetables, cereals. Soups are disgusting, but sometimes they took half a spoon out of habit. There was a good selection of fruits: always dates of various kinds, oranges, persimmons, bananas, sometimes pomegranates, grapes. Of the drinks, as already mentioned, yupi juices, but they appreciated the cold hibiscus, it was very tasty. Not only was there good food in the main restaurant, but fast food + ice cream on the beach and by the central pool))) Standard Egyptian drinks for alcohol: rum, gin, whiskey, beer, wine, vodka. We were ready, there were no problems with drinking.
From everything described, it seemed that we did not pay extra somewhere. But! Attendants... No questions to the cleaners, always clean, beauty on the bed of towels for an extra buck, everything is ok. But here bartenders are a tin. There were four of us, it is logical that two of us went for drinks. These wise men refused to give 2 glasses per hand. We show that we are all sitting. "No, you can't" and at least you crack! One dollar settled the issue, but only for a while, while we were in front of them. It was worth leaving, for example, for lunch, they would come back and "our song is good, start over. " In other hotels such problems never arose!
Also "very" hospitable waiters in restaurants. Plates were taken from under the nose right with the food. But in order to get cutlery on the table, it was necessary to play the quest: "find a waiter and beg for a fork and knife. " We could have approached them several times to ask them to give us cutlery on the table. And yes, the trouble with napkins is one under the plate and that's it, then wipe your hands even on the tablecloth or your neighbor.
The animators were seen 2 times in all the time, somehow they are completely lost in such a territory.
