About the hotel. We were in this hotel from 19 to 28 July. I really liked the hotel. Indeed - old, but the rooms are being updated. Such a colossus cannot be immediately taken and updated. Everything is covered in greenery. Oasis.
We arrived at midnight. We were immediately offered a better room for extra. fee - 10 euros per night for a good room. We agreed and have no regrets about it. The room in Bungalow 722, on the ground floor, was larger than our two-room apartment - a bar-fridge, TV, ironing board and non-stick iron, a full bath, a full bed for a child. The view from the windows is simply awesome - flowers of different shapes, sizes and colors (the place where everyone was photographed). To the sea and restaurants go about the same - 200 meters...
The food is good, although rather monotonous... We were not picky... We had everything we wanted. There was meat (not soy), fruit too. From restaurants, and after 10.30 and bars, it was possible not to get out.
Service - on top, as befits a Hilton. We had an air conditioner leak in our room. The wife speaks English - she called the reception... After 5 minutes. the problems have been fixed. A lizard crawled into our room - an employee of the employee passed nearby, and seeing the reaction of my wife, he preferred to take off his sneakers and slam the animal, after which, mom, a plate of fruit was brought in the morning. When they didn’t bring one hand towel (I think they forgot) - 3 minutes after the call, the towel was in place. All hotel services are described in the booklets in the room and it is worth taking the trouble to read the text in pure Russian for 5-10 minutes so that you don’t write reviews about how bad it was for you there. Towels are changed every day - just throw a towel on the floor. Hygiene items (shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, body lotion) were added as the tubes were empty. In bars, you could take alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks - how much you take away, and not, as some people say - one glass - in one hand... Snacks... Delicious ice cream...
The sea is clean, although shallow... If you go out in the morning, sit in the sea and sit for a short time, you will be surrounded by flocks of fish. The beach is clean, constantly cleaned, there were always enough towels and sunbeds.
It is better to buy souvenirs when returning at the airport. The hotel is expensive... Currency (local pounds) are the same everywhere, so it makes no sense to immediately stock them at the airport. Taxi from the hotel can be ordered without problems. They will take you to Hurghada, wait for you there as long as necessary and bring you back - all this for 15 bucks. True, they bring it to their store : -).
