This fall, my husband and child (1 year and 8 months) went to the sea. Before the trip, I read reviews about the hotel, to be honest, they were mediocre and even frightening, but in reality it turned out to be not so bad.
We checked in at 1 am local time, put 10 dollars in our passport and got 905 number on the map of the territory somewhere in the middle. At first it seemed that everything was far away (the territory of the hotel is huge), then we figured out how best to get there. From living creatures, ants came to the room (toward evening, check what's in the bin) and mosquitoes flew in. The first ones were quickly removed by themselves, the second ones were slammed. Room cleaning, change of towels and linen, water in the room every day. We left a dollar for tip.
The sea lived up to expectations - clean, warm, fish swim, corals are visible. It’s decent to go to the depth, but it’s a convenient beach for children and for unsure swimmers, but for now you go to a good depth and do water aerobics for free)

Excursions were immediately ordered from the tour operator, although they are cheaper at the hotel (as it turned out later), but you paid the insurance to the operator. I liked diving, the submarine is so-so, the tourists praised the "4 islands" very much. Animation was not visited, because. the child went to bed early. Also, my husband was on a massage, he returned terribly satisfied, and I went to a cosmetic program for the face, very well.
The only negative (in my opinion) is the food. I would like more ripe fruits, fresh herbs and vegetables. And it would be nice to have normal soups for lunch, not from cubes. Queues in restaurants were very tense, either they need to expand, or clean up faster. True, I was pleased that we were not poisoned by anything (in the reviews it was), and the child did not have allergies.
It is better to postpone shopping until you arrive at the airport. Everything is expensive in the hotel, if you do not know how to bargain, it is better not to take souvenirs. We brought tea, glasses, spices, of course, magnets and a tunic.
In addition to money, you can leave Russian chocolate for tea, the staff really liked it. And about reviews like "everyone doesn't like us Russians", I'll write a banal but relevant phrase - treat others the way you want to be treated. Do not be lazy, learn a couple of phrases in Arabic, smile and enjoy your vacation.
