"Mercure" was recommended to us by the travel agency "Mandrui is cheaper". We trust the guys from this agency, as they are not the first time they perfectly organize our vacation, and yet, before making a final decision, we read the reviews on the Internet. Liked everything!!! ! The hotel is located on the shore of a cozy bay, the beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is very convenient, without stones. Loungers on the beach and by the pool enough. The sunbeds are solid, wooden, and therefore somewhat heavy. But if you need to move the sunbed, you can always ask for help from employees who are almost always on the beach. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The food is excellent, varied and tasty, lots of sweets and fruits. The staff is friendly, almost everyone speaks Russian.
But most of all we liked how the animation team worked. The guys entertained vacationers from morning to night. Morning gymnastics, sports games, aqua aerobics, belly dancing, various shows in the evenings, and after the show - a disco. During our stay, we were participants in the watermelon festival, foam party, carnival, cook show. In addition, the hotel has its own stable, so you could ride horses, donkeys, camels, but this is for a fee. Well, and marine entertainment: banana, tablet, yachts, windsurfing, etc. On the right side of the beach, you could swim with a mask and admire the corals. Very cool children's animator. What he just did not invent to make it interesting and fun for children!
As for the excursions… not cheap… We bought an excursion to Paradise Island ($55). I really liked it: a boat with a transparent bottom, a walk on a luxury yacht, swimming on the beach of Paradise Island, contemplating corals (fins, masks, snorkels and life jackets were included in the price of the tour), a delicious lunch (a fairly large selection of seafood) on the yacht. The tour was bought from a guide, on the beach they offered $ 10 less, but we were not interested in what kind of program it was. And we also went on an excursion to Hurghada, it was also interesting.
Yes, about the fact that the room needs to be vacated at 12 o'clock... We left the hotel at 14 o'clock, at 12 we came for luggage, we went down to the reception, handed over the key, no one removed the bracelets from us, we had a quiet lunch.
