We went to Egypt for the first time, the hotel was chosen on an Internet within a week. In the end, we chose Sofitel and were extremely satisfied! Thanks to everyone who advised this hotel, the rest was really a success! Tour operator: CAM (Ukraine), meeting party - Future Travel Group. Tour type: ultra-all-inclusive (UAI)

Location: 10 min. from the airport, 15 min. to the center. We arrived at 10 am. As UAI, we were immediately brought fresh juices and settled within 3 minutes, a sea view room on the 1st floor (building 17), everything worked in the room, there is an individual air conditioner. The territory of the hotel is very decent in size, a lot of greenery, no tall buildings, all buildings have a maximum of 3 floors. The great thing is that the hotel has a capacity of 650 people - this is the ideal number for which there are no queues in restaurants or bars. The rooms are not very big, but given that we were only in them at night, it does not matter at all. The minibar was replenished regularly.

We received animals twisted from bedspreads on the 2nd day : ).

Food: honestly, I don’t understand people who write that they didn’t have enough meat and variety in food! Yes, there were many national dishes that are not always suitable for Europeans, but at the same time, the second half was designed specifically for the European type. A wide variety of dietary dishes and sweets. There is a special children's corner with "clean" products without seasonings. Every day in the main restaurant, a dinner of a certain cuisine is announced: French, Italian, islanders, etc. The fish and meat grill is open all the time. We visited the "Omar" restaurant 1 time, it's very nice, everything is brought, but the downside is that you can't choose what you want. As UAI, we had 1 free entry to the Marina fish restaurant. Excellent fish cuisine, they give wonderful crab soup, red fish and a kilogram of seafood (squid, crabs, tiger prawns, fish) on the grill!
For lovers of "dirty" food, from 12.00 to 18.00, shawarma, pizza, fries, hot dogs are prepared at the pool bar.

Drinks: UAI was taken in principle because of the drinks. I didn’t want to carry alcohol with me, and the local one causes terrible heartburn. UAI gives the right to take imported alcohol from 10:00 to 22:00 only in the Azur bar (only applies to vodka, tequila, rum, whiskey, gin and all cocktails with these ingredients). On the first day, I tried for a long time to ask at the bar what kind of drinks we got for free, the bartender was not very talkative, but after visiting the reception and complaining that we were somehow uncomfortable, the drinks immediately showed up on the trail. day were put on a shelf with a sign "enjoy ultra all inclusive". The bartender was our best friend until the end of the holiday : ).

Service: room service did not complain at all. The waiters are very friendly, we knew many of them by name.

It was repeatedly noticed how some Muscovites behaved in a boorish way with the attendants, talking to “hey you, come here and bring me this” or goofing off during evening performances. Not surprisingly, the attitude towards Russians is much worse. We communicated exclusively in English, many took us for the French and we had no problems with the service. By the way, the attitude towards Ukrainians is also better than towards Russia. Distribution by country in the hotel (when we were) approximately: 60% Russia / Ukraine, 30% France, 10% - Arabs, Germans, Italians. Tipping was left only 2 times: in Omar and in Marina, and another $ 1 for the animals in the room. In terms of food and drinks, the hotel is self-service, so those who are used to being run after them with trays, look elsewhere.

Entertainment: The animation team is just super! ! I read in some reviews complaints that the animators are not active. I understand why people write like this.
Here, unlike in Turkey, they do not run after you with persistent offers to participate. If you want, feel free to come up, the animators are all 4-lingual, there are girls from Russia, they will tell you everything, show you and you won’t be bored until the end of the holiday! Every day sports competitions, 2 times a day water aerobics, oriental dances, stretching, surfing, diving, etc. There is a wonderful Baboo club for children, where they are trained, taught to swim, dance, and every evening the children dance with Babu (a large yellow dog) club dancing near the pool! Although we did not have children, we always went to Babu's show, a lot of positive emotions! From 20:30 to 21:30 live music by the pool, then an animation performance in the amphitheater, a show with snakes, sword swallowers, from 23:00 to 2:00 a disco (in a day - indoors and on the beach). Chic entertainment - foam disco! You need to come immediately in a bathing suit. Discos are generally very good, dance music, a lot of fun.
All in all, it was a great vacation! It all depends on the mood you're in. If you are in the mood for a good rest and communication, Softel is the right place!

PS Maybe someone knows where you can download Baboo music, I will be very grateful : )
