A few days since we returned from SOFITEL HURGHADA. We chose this hotel based on reviews but were disappointed. The hotel is very old, the rooms need renovation, but this is not a problem, tolerable, but the rest: Where is the vaunted attitude of the staff? , Where are the juices from the packages, not diluted drinks, where is the big and good beach? Where is the green space? Yes, there is greenery, but it is between the buildings, which are closed courtyards, for the passage you need to bypass the complex of three buildings in order to get inside the courtyard along one path. The sunbeds are a separate problem, but it’s not the hotel’s fault, but the problem is the abundance of Russian tourists who take a sunbed both on the sea and by the pool, but lie somewhere in one place or even sleep after yesterday’s exploits. Part of the beach is leased to a private company that rents out boards, and the coral reef is generally loudly said, it is, that is, but almost dead, you need to walk 300 meters to the living reef, along the stones.
