The first thing that arranged - instant check-in (arrived at about 10 am). Of course, this can be partly explained by the small number of vacationers, but... in other hotels, even if there are free rooms, they ask for an extra charge for this.
The room is small, the repair is old, but the cleanliness was just perfect both when checking into the room and throughout the stay (cleaning was carried out daily, as well as the replacement of all towels). Hot water - without interruption, faced this problem in other hotels and for me it is very important.
I read a lot of negative reviews about nutrition, it seems strange to me. Food is like everywhere else: soups, beef, chicken, fish, rice, pasta, potatoes, vegetables, and with their delicious baba ganoush and tahini, you can generally live on a salad with flatbread. Of the fruits were melons, oranges, bananas, dates. Grill in the evening: kofte, chicken, liver. Breakfast, as always, is meager: scrambled eggs, vegetables, sweet buns. As I understand it, due to the pandemic and the crisis, the food in all hotels has deteriorated a little, but we have never been hungry and, more importantly, we have not been poisoned. The only thing that confused - clearly diluted milk at breakfast. Well, sweets... so-so. From alcohol they drank only beer and wine on the beach, they remained quite alive and well. )

The main asset of this hotel is its staff. This is my 6th stay in hotels in Egypt, but the first in Hurghada. In Minamarca, without any exaggeration, the most polite, friendly and helpful staff that I have met. Not everyone speaks Russian well, but many and all speak English well. Everyone smiles all the time. Even the sellers of all kinds of services on the beach, of which there are many, do their job very unobtrusively and accept your refusal with a smile, happily continuing the dialogue on other topics. Drinks at the beach bar are initially poured into small glasses, but if you ask, you will be poured into the glass you want and as much as you want without any problems.
The beach is small, of course. There may not be enough sunbeds when fully loaded, but we were in a half-empty hotel, so there were plenty of sunbeds at all times of the day. The bottom is sandy, some dead corals or stones, always swam without water shoes. My husband loves to jump into the water, so he especially appreciated the presence of pantone (it was not in two hotels in the neighborhood).
One of the pools is heated, but we only swam in the sea.
There is animation: water aerobics in the sea, belly dance, something else. In the evening there was always some kind of program, but we spent the evening by the sea or walked around the city. My husband enjoyed playing table tennis.
Of all the services offered on the beach, we bought only a massage (the hotel has a spa where the procedure takes place). My husband and I took 3 sessions each, if you take a course, they will make a discount. I liked the massage very much.
I understand very well the difference between budget and expensive hotels. was a different experience. But lately we prefer small budget hotels, and with the money saved we travel around the country on our own (twice we went to Cairo from Sharm, this time we spent 5 days of vacation in Luxor and Aswan). If you also understand this difference and know exactly what you expect from a hotel, I strongly recommend this place to you.
