To all readers - a pleasant planned holiday : )
The hotel left a very mixed feeling, so I want to write a detailed review about it.
Rested from 29.02 to 10.03. 2012.
In short, the hotel is not bad, but not elite. If the price suits you - feel free to go!
Prior to that, in Egypt rested 2 times in Sharm el-Sheikh. We went to Hurghada, knowing that the sea is worse there, but out of curiosity - do not go all the time to the same place.
The hotel was highly recommended to us by the tour operator. Very praised - if in Hurghada, then only in Albatrosses! they say, the best in food, etc. We went to Aqua Blue because unexpectedly the price for a flight from Minsk fell by $300. And this is a weighty argument. $1500 from Minsk for two for 11 nights (it's cheap). From Moscow, I would not give more than $1.000 for 11 nights for this hotel.
But first things first.

1. Aqua Blue is actually located in a complex with the Garden and Vista hotels. Garden is older, Vista is newer. The territory is common. But Vista from Aqua Blue is located across a small road, but there are no boundaries between Aqua Blue and Garden - it’s not even clear where one hotel ends and the second begins. All animation - on the territory of Gardena. There is also a large warm pool, slides, snacks (between breakfast and dinner). Near the pool - dancing, water aerobics, darts, ping-pong. In general, all the time, if not by the sea, they spent at the garden pool (in Blue there is also a warm pool, but it is smaller and there is silence and they only serve pizza in the distance). I would not go to Vista - generally a dead hotel, only overpay for newer rooms...
2. Settlement. We arrived at 10:30 and checked in at 11:30. (although they are required to check in at 14... ) The room was given in house 4 5214. The furniture is old, the TV is a CRT (if anyone cares). The refrigerator shuddered a little at night. The biggest inconvenience was the air conditioner. It works both for heating and for cold, but too noisy. It will be uncomfortable to sleep with him at night. So in the summer in the heat with such an air conditioner - the rest is doubtful. Cleaning daily, change of towels on request. There is no duvet cover, once instead of one large sheet they put 2 small ones, before leaving, and even one small one. A glass dirty from juice stood on the table for 2 days, they never washed it - I had to do it myself.
3. For food - you can eat in all the bars of three hotels (like 9, but not all of them worked) and in the restaurants of the Blue and Garden hotels - Karkade and Crocodile, respectively. There are also 3 a la carte restaurants. Once a week you can eat there by appointment - like all inclusive. On Ala carte it is similar only in that at the entrance you are met by a waiter and brought to a table. Next - a buffet and regular food (a little themed). Also, if you're lucky, the waiter will bring drinks, otherwise, serve yourself. But for a change, you can go. The food was delicious, the breakfast varied. Rather, every day is the same, but the choice is large, so every morning you can eat something new. Lunches did not shine with variety, but again - everything was delicious. I really liked the soups. The soup bowls are really small. Dinners are quite varied. There is always a grill. There is almost always something unusual (duck, leg of lamb, there were even mussels (with sand  ), shawarma, whole baked fish). We dined like this - first in Karkada, and then in search of something tasty - in Crocodile. Fruits - oranges, bananas, tangerines and 2 times found small melons, dates, apples (all in season). From vegetables, I was pleased with the presence of cherry tomatoes and the ability to cut vegetables on their own. Sweets - as always in Egypt - delicious and sweet  . There is a bar on the beach that also serves snacks - french fries, a hamburger (a la), pizza (tasty, but not Italian - a thick bun with melted cheese and seasonings), vegetables, fruits, sweets. Alcohol is also served there.
4. Bars. Local alcohol (as in all hotels in Egypt) goes well in the form of cocktails. The beer is good. But on the street they always manage to pour 100 ml into disposable cups. The bar in the lobby of the hotel serves the best cocktails.

5. The staff is friendly. But in restaurants, the Germans were served by waiters, and we ran for our own wine.
6. Drinking water is given in unlimited quantities. You can take at the bars and put in the room.
7. Most importantly, you can take fruits and bread out of restaurants. Nobody will say a word!
8. Evening animation show - just super. Chief animator Miko (sort of) is a talent! The most important thing is that despite the same names of the evening shows, all the numbers were different and did not repeat in 11 days!
9. Pools. Unheated - cold. Heated - very pleasant. To feel the buzz, we first slid down the hill into a cold pool, and then you go into a warm pool like fresh milk. The water is clean. Very cool water park for kids. Slides - there are joints, but they didn’t fill bruises, if you push off smartly, then you fly off at high speed, if not, then you can get stuck in the middle of the slide, and then push off with your hands. Do not be afraid of cold water on the slides - you do not feel it. Blue has a wave pool. It’s a pity it’s not heated, but in warmer weather it’s super!
10. Sea. The sea as an attraction with fish in Hurghada is apparently absent, or absent on the Albatross beach. Types of fish - can be counted on the fingers of one hand. True, we saw a stingray once. But of course, after Sharm, the sea was very disappointing. Highly!! ! Saved only by a boat trip. Corals? No reefs, so small corals are scattered here and there. But on the other hand, the sandy entrance to the sea, no cliffs and sudden changes in depth - in general, a paradise for those who can only swim with an inflatable ring. Swimming went to the "wild" beach, which is nearby. There, the sand is softer and there are some fish with corals (if you find a place).

11. Beach. Beach of average scall. The sunbeds are old, it is unpleasant to walk barefoot on the sand between the sunbeds. But here, at the edge of the sea, the sand is heavenly. The beach area is small. Rather, this is a piece of the beach of the first line hotel. In the high season, it is unlikely that everyone will have enough sunbeds. Plus - the possibility of eating by the sea.
12. Sports. Tennis - racket rental during the day - 2 euros, in the evening - 7. Ping-pong, volleyball, football (animators gather people) - everything is free. Minigolf - not played.
13. The territory is full of flowers, the lawn is excellent, there is an alley of fairy-tale heroes.
14. Planes constantly fly over the hotel coming in for landing. I chose a hotel away from the airport. And in the end, every day I enjoyed the noise of flying planes. I had to get carried away looking at them 
That's it. Conclusion - rested well, but it can be much better. The truth is more expensive. The hotel is fully consistent with its category of 4 stars.
