I returned from Egypt the day before yesterday. I decided to share my impressions and disappointments with those who still have them.
It all started, as always, with "noodles" in a travel agency. For the residents of Rovno I tell you its name: "Gepard" hotel "Ukraine" 2nd floor.
Soulful Valentina Ivanovna delightedly described the rest in Egypt and rushed to look for a burning ticket for us. The problem was that I was traveling as a family: 2 adults and 2 children. Couldn't find a hotel with family rooms.
"It's okay - said Valentina Ivanovna - you will be accommodated in 2 doubles. " Doubles so doubles, my wife and I thought and decided to take. Valentina Ivanovna calculated the cost of the tour and made a discount of 50 bucks. We gave her money. It was a little embarrassing that we were not given any documents: receipts or contracts. But this agency was advised by our neighbor, then we decided that we can trust.

On the appointed day in Boryspil, the representative of the Anex tour gave us all the documents. I quickly looked through them and noticed that in the column "room" there was an abbreviation ST. I didn’t remember what it meant, and there was no time, I had to go to registration.
At the hotel I learned what is: ST. we were put in one room with a double and a single bed, though they immediately brought a second single, but it still didn’t look like two doubles.
"Well - I think - the bad Anex tour deceived me, but tomorrow I will call Valentina Ivanovna and she will figure it out. "
In the morning I call and Valentina Ivanovna declares to me: "And you and I decided how to place the second child, she did not promise you 2 doubles. "
What can I say, the money on the card ran out, I spat on V. I. In the end, the conditions are better than in the Crimea.
The next surprise I received from the hotel administration, the so-called "reception".
In the lobby, opposite the reception desk, my video camera was stolen. That day I was waiting for my tour leader. The time before the meeting had not yet come and I sat on the couch, put the camera next to me. When 10 minutes had passed from the appointed time, I got up, approached the representative of the reception with a sign "OLGA" and asked if this meeting was really necessary for me? OLGA replied that we had to wait. I turned and sat on the sofa, but on another one.
My tour leader came, wrote down my departure date, gave an advertisement for excursions. And then I remembered the camera. I jumped up, went to the first sofa, and the camera was gone.
I go straight to OLGE. That and so, they just stole the camera, less than 20 minutes had passed. Then the incomprehensible began.
Instead of hot on the heels of helping to find the camera, they began to tell me that the administration is not responsible for things not handed over.
I say: "Tour leaders were sitting next to them with other groups, ask them if anyone saw anything. " Answer: no, you can't.
Allow me, I say, to hang an advertisement on the doors of the restaurant, maybe there will be witnesses. No.

Speaking: I want to report the theft to the police. OLGA replies: "I am not authorized to translate for you, and in general your camera was not stolen, you forgot it on the couch. "
Turning to the tour leader, help with the translation, he answers: "I don't want to contact the police, there will be an interrogation for 4 hours. " You say, go to the policeman at the entrance, he will call the police and then the receptionist will be obliged to translate for you.
He approached the policeman, with the help of a Russian-speaking Arab, he explained the situation. He replied: go to the tour leader, let him help contact the police. In a word, a vicious circle.
But most of all I was infuriated by the attitude of the administration. They did everything to hush up the scandal and not provide any help. The only thing their security did was search my room. It turns out that the Russians insure their cameras and the hotel thus checks the veracity of the statement.
By the way, a week later, my daughter forgot her parero scarf in the restaurant and it was not found either. But after the video camera, you can not remember this.
Once again, I checked the sincerity of the reception when I complained that there was a constant hum in the room from the operation of the general air conditioner. The same OLGA promised that a technician would come and check... So all 14 nights we slept with the feeling that there was a damaged refrigerator in the room. By the way, the room number is 1812, maybe someone will get there?
It remains only to add that there is no normal beach in the hotel. Those 100 meters of dirty brown sand, divided in half by a pier, near which boats stand and stink of gasoline burning, can hardly be called a sea beach.
Well, the rest: food, sun, swimming pool, service - normal.
