This was our first trip with a five-year-old daughter abroad, to the Red Sea. Before that, we had been visiting the Black Sea coast for two years, since the Urals had a very bad ecological situation, my daughter was very often sick and trips to the sea once a year saved us from colds for two months. I would like to say - I just read a bunch of reviews about various hotels, their services - how many people have so many opinions. A lot of negativity is written about Hurghada, so I want to ask these people about it - have you ever vacationed in Anapa in the private sector and swimming on the city beach? - if so, then Hurghada will seem like a paradise to you - if only there were fewer Russians. And in the price category, let’s say, it’s cheaper to relax in Egypt in 4-5 stars with an all-inclusive system than in the same Anapa sanatorium with post-Soviet services, where the same Russian staff have to pay for additional benefits. Of course, I regret that I didn’t go to the Red Sea earlier, and for three years, when my daughter was 2.3, 4 years old, I was afraid to take her to another country, but then I wouldn’t have anything to compare with - vacation in Hurghada (you strive to return there every time) and rest in Russia (and why did I just go there). Now about the hotel - I was there 2 times, the last time in May 2008. I want to say right away that the second or more visit to any hotel in Hurghada gives some advantage, namely knowledge of the infrastructure (you know where to check in, what, where is located), you already they remember, they bring fruit or cupcakes to the room, there are bathrobes. But for the first time, each hotel arranges its own not very pleasant "surprises", so everyone has patience and humor, all these troubles can be fixed (although money does not always help) and do not wag your nerves. This hotel also met us unfriendly for the first time, settled in room 1255 (there will be a photo), the room itself is good, but the view from the balcony........two days later I received a new number 1929, although it was a pity for the time spent at the reception, but I remember this with a smile, reading the reviews of the others - this school must be passed, otherwise there will be no impressions and emotions. We liked the food, we are not gourmets, and we don’t really want to eat in the heat - just eat with your eyes and take pictures, and you come home and ask yourself for some reason you haven’t really tried anything - and it’s not possible, there’s a lot of everything. In the Italian restaurant, lasagna conquered, there were cherry tomatoes beloved by my daughter, Heints favorite ketchup and french fries, delicious lamb, minced meat sausages. Children's animation is only in this hotel, my daughter ran every evening to it and looked forward to it, which can not be said about other hotels. I learned to smoke hookah there, I had never tried it before. It was a bit boring for me in the evenings, but there you can chat with someone every evening without any problems - people from different cities, different ages, so you can find some entertainment for the evening. Animated shows are interesting for the first week, but then they are repeated again and somehow not so much anymore. The beach is wonderful - for the first time I dived with a mask about 4 days before departure - and this sea conquered me forever - you can only see a flock of squid and various fish at a shallow depth of 2 meters. Only now, in subsequent times, it’s somehow uncomfortable to go in and swim without a mask, knowing that different fish, snakes swim next to you, in short, there are a lot of all kinds of living creatures. In general, the hotel is good, you can't please everyone. many of my friends constantly go there and do not want to change it for another.
