When choosing a hotel, the water park bribed us first of all. 3-4 days before departure, I saw more profitable options for the same money, but it was too late to change anything. Therefore, about everything in order.
Main disadvantages
All the shortcomings of the hotel "came out" on the day of arrival. Firstly, the hotel is old and the rooms are in need of refurbishment. Many rooms overlook the street (desert and shacks) or the rooftops of neighboring buildings. Worst of all, of course, in the rooms near the kitchen. There are horribly humming hoods and the smell of cooking.

When we checked in, we gave $ 10 and we were given a room in the "Polish building" - it was built behind the main entrance to the hotel. The rooms there are still in more or less tolerable condition and are large in size. During the construction, the idea was good - materials, Egyptian-style tiles. But as if the Moldovans were building - everything is slanting, crooked and threatens to fall off. On the second attempt, we settled on a room that suited us. It only had faucets in the bathroom staggering and there was not one switch button (we paved it with a plastic bag so that the child would not get into the mains with his hands. A day later, this switch was repaired for us. The disadvantages of the case are the complete absence of any kind of hood in the corridors and elevators. When At the same time, especially smart Russian tourists still managed to smoke while walking from the room to the elevator : ( And special respect to the elevators. They constantly broke down, worked at their own discretion and took them where they saw fit. Considering that there is no fresh air in the elevators, this is another test. We lived on the 5th floor (taking into account the groundflo - on the 6th) and several times we had to walk along the spiral staircase : (
The hotel is located in the old town, so the lights in the whole hotel are switched off periodically in the evenings. Not for long, for 1-5 minutes, but spoils the mood. Especially for those people who at that time were stuck in a small absolutely unventilated elevator : (
The second big disadvantage of the hotel is its overcrowding. There are a lot of residential buildings, a lot of vacationers. In this regard, there are some difficulties with lunch and dinner. If you want to eat at a clean table, with clean tablecloths, come 15 minutes beforehand. before opening, stand in line, be among the first to enter, take a table and stand in line for food. If you don’t want to stand in lines, you should come no earlier than an hour after opening, but then you need to be prepared for the fact that you will have to clean the dirty table yourself and look for clean appliances with napkins. No, there are waiters there and they never stand idly by, but they physically cannot cope with such a load.
Nutrition
The food itself, in principle, is enough. They always try to bring the missing. Features only with breakfast: you always had to hunt for pancakes for a child (they are taken out every 5-10 minutes for 8 pieces) and if you come after 8, then there will be no more fruit. The set of products from which food is prepared is small and the chefs get out as best they can (fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, potatoes in tomato sauce; boiled pasta, pasta with vegetables, pasta casserole; stewed fish, baked fish, battered fish). You won't be hungry, but you get really bored in a week. Every time you go to eat and you know exactly what you will eat, because. there is not much choice.
In addition to the main restaurant, there is also a beach restaurant and an Italian restaurant. The choice of food there is more limited, so we only went there a few times out of interest.
Water and drinks

There is nothing for a person with a weak stomach to drink. Water only from coolers of dubious quality. Large bottles are not allowed. Therefore, we simply bought water in a store near our building for $1. for 1.5 l. Everything else was terrible to drink (yuppie with a terrible chemical aftertaste and diluted fanta with colla). The only thing that we approved - sometimes the so-called "tonic" appeared in the bars. In fact - a cold carbonated mineral water. For a change, you can drink black tea with milk (at least they don’t have powdered milk).
I can’t say anything about alcohol, because. the company at us has crept up not drinking.
Swimming pools, sea, water park
The water part of the hotel is quite clean, neat and did not cause any particular complaints. The main pool has only one upper step to get out, so getting out of the water can be difficult for overweight people. Sun loungers near the pool and in the water park are new, plastic. On the beach by the sea - old and broken in places.
Separately about towels. They, due to the huge number of people, are often not enough. In order to take a seat by the sea, you need to go to the beach before breakfast, take a sunbed (preferably not with a hotel towel, because you have to pay $ 20 for its loss) and only then have a calm breakfast. Because after 8 am all sunbeds near the sea are occupied. You can lie down by the pool or near the water park. There are almost always free sunbeds.
The water park is nice, with lots of slides for kids and 4 adults. The child was very pleased.
The sea is generally good, there is sand for building castles and apiaries with small children. There are some remnants of coral reefs with fish. But literally on the second day you already know every fish "by sight".
What to take with you for a comfortable stay
These things will be very useful to you in montilon:
- rope and clothespins for drying swimwear on the balcony
- One personal bath towel per guest
- favorite tea, coffee and, if possible, an electric kettle (at the lobby bar, the water barely reaches 80 degrees and leaf tea is brewed poorly.
- large-capacity plastic or iron mugs for each vacationer (it is forbidden to use glass or porcelain dishes there, but you can easily pour any drink into your mug to the top and you won’t have to run ten times with plastic disposable cups, into which everyone is poured in bars )
- teaspoons (if you plan to drink tea or coffee with sugar, it is better to take it with you, it is often busy with spoons in bars)

On the whole, we were satisfied with the rest, although we are unlikely to go to this hotel again, because, in my opinion, it is not worth the money.
