A taxi costs $2 or £.10 to the old town and $3 or £.15 back. Usually we went with other vacationers to make it cheaper. Prices in the old city are much lower than in the new one, you need to bargain everywhere. They drank cane juice for 2 pounds per glass, the glass was about the size of a beer mug. Very tasty. Mangoes are sold very ripe and tasty, not the same as sold here, we even brought it home 4 kg, they brought it perfectly. A kilo of mangoes costs 20 pounds or $4, and a kilo of pomegranates costs $1. The location of the hotel is very good. You leave the hotel from the back exit and you get to the shopping arcade, you walk a little and a new city begins. Walk 7 minutes to the beach or 5 minutes by bus. We walked along a beautiful road to walk pleasantly among the fountains of palm trees.
