Lots of reviews written and read. Write all and sundry. Sometimes it seems that they write about something they themselves have not been to, or maybe they are fulfilling someone's order or want to spoil the reputation of the hotel. I do not know what drives those people who dared to write at least one bad review about the Pyramisa Blue Lagoon. Perhaps this is one of the most luxurious hotel chains in general and this hotel in particular. I would like to find fault with something - but nothing Well, okay, let's talk about everything in order.
The end of November and the beginning of December is not the best time to relax, but despite this, the hotel's territory, its staff and service brightened up all the coolness of the weather.
Arrived as expected by plane from Vnukovo by the Red Wings airline. The airport, of course, is not like in Dubai, but it’s okay - you can spend the night, though it’s better to take a drink and a snack with you. On the plane - nice and lovely flight attendants diligently fed everyone and gave soft drinks to drink.

Moreover, they didn’t refuse supplements and didn’t even look askance if you suddenly ask for more lemonade. In general, they put us down, or rather landed, saw us off, waved their hand and handed us over to be torn to pieces by tour operators. Those gladly began to stamp visas for us in the passport, while taking 18 from someone 20 from someone $ 17, but not 15 as promised. And at least someone hinted at this in their reviews. Then I would have known for sure that I had to stand in the next window with a sign of an Egyptian bank and sign there without any overpayments and, by the way, exchange currency at the correct rate. Everything is fair here. But ours doesn’t care - there are still plenty of dollars, but you rather want to go to the beach - just think, each one will overpay for 5 bucks - they won’t impoverish! . . Further all on buses! and transfer to the hotel. There is nothing unusual here. Probably worse for those who first leave, somewhat better for those who have a hotel away - consider a free sightseeing tour of Hurghada.
And finally RECEPTION! Here, as they say, keep your ears open. Moreover, half of the reviews are full of good recommendations - like immediately put 20 dollars in your passport and then you are provided with a good number. Idiots, those who advise it, and even greater idiots, those who did so. You have to be quicker and people will be drawn to you. A couple of polite words in Arabic on our part (knowledge of a foreign language came in handy for us) and now your $ 20 is saved. Of course, you should not save and miser on the services of a porter and a porter. After all, this is their way of life. They live on it and feed their families. Remember yourself - do you ever refuse a small reward for a job well done. Moreover, 1 dollar is not that much money, and they don’t require more.
Thus, without any delay, we were placed not in a standard double, but were provided with a wonderful villa, a room on the 2nd floor with two balconies, a TV with Russian channels, a huge bathroom, a safe, air conditioning and other prichendaly that should be present in any "Five" . Half an hour later, lunch. The first thing that struck me was a huge restaurant with seats in the building and in the open air - as you like. Food - not only to not try - not even to count. Worthless is the price who writes in the reviews that the food is monotonous and meager. The purest lie. Only baking - like in a supermarket. The staff runs - darkness. At the same time, everyone strictly fulfills their duties. One quickly cleans up the dishes, the other quickly reports what is over, the third straightens the napkins ...
The head chef, later we learned that his name is Said, is right there, and he does not hide from anyone, but politely asks if the visitors like the cuisine and if there are any comments. Another manager oversees the work of the waiters. In general, a well-disciplined and well-coordinated staff. Pleasantly satisfying hunger, of course, running to the beach. Or rather, not running, but on a special bus - a shuttle, as they call it, which scurries to the beach and back every half hour. Basically you can walk. which will take literally 5-7 minutes of a leisurely walk along the magnificent street. And as soon as the tongue turns among those who declare - what kind of "five" is it if it is in the second coastline. Yes, think for yourself - firstly, the hotel does not hide that the sea is across the road, and, secondly, not everyone who is on the first coastline is within easy reach of the beach.

If we count meters with mathematical accuracy, then the second coastline is further than the first only by the width of the road separating them. And many cool hotels have already expanded so much that they occupy both the first and second coastlines. Take Hilton or Shteigenberger for example. And, believe me, these are hotels oriented towards Europeans. Some others say that if you go on foot, you have to pass by a construction site, which allegedly does not delight. But, dear ones, after all, 20 years ago there was nothing here but the desert, and construction is a natural process, and for us, for tourists. And do not confuse their construction sites with ours. There everything is somehow quiet and fast. And here, remember ka - where a hundred meters of construction - there is a kilometer of dirt and ditches. Is not it? There's nothing to be angry about then. In a year, palm trees will bloom here, and construction, of course, will move further, but will continue. 16-51! ! ! All! The sun has set! It's on schedule here. So it's time for dinner.
Everything is the same as at lunch - there is a lot of everything and everything is delicious. Plus there are fruits. Today was guava. Some of our bores - and where, they say, watermelons and other exotic - after all, these are five stars ? ! Well, complete ignoramuses. After all, everyone from school knows that each fruit has its own ripening period. And why ask for something that the whole world has not yet ripened. And those who have tried these southern watermelons - they are not even close to Astrakhan. Well, duck and why show your nonsense here? Rejoice and enjoy what has been prepared for you and brought almost into your mouth. And if you want watermelons, go to Astrakhan and, by the way, do not forget to rush there in late August or early September. Otherwise, you’ll come back in January and you’ll roar - oh-oh-oh, for some reason there are no watermelons! Sorry, I seem to have gotten off topic. 21 hours 30 minutes. It's time to meet with our tour operator. Remember - his name is Mohammed. Representative of Coral-travel and Sunmar - tour. This is an unforgettable personality.
I do not want to say anything bad about the tour operator as a whole, but the selection of our own personnel must be taken more seriously. This frame struck us on the spot from the very first words. After the traditional “hello”, we had to listen to his monologue that we have no right to buy excursions from anyone else except him, and if this is not the case, then he began to threaten us, saying that he would put some kind of black mark in the passport and we can never get into any foreign country. And rather he gave us to sign a waiver of insurance once we refused his services, he said that the tour operator is no longer responsible for us. And we just told him that we were just going to sunbathe on the sea on the beach and were not going to go anywhere at all. Of course, we did not like his manner of conducting a conversation in this perspective, so we silently decided not to use his services. And when he suddenly found out that we also speak Arabic ...
To tell you more, so as not to bore you. How we lay on the beach and warmed our bodies, that we rode quads, that we made an amazing trip to Luxor and a couple of boat trips to Utopia Island and El Gouna (this is like an Egyptian Venice) - I will not dwell on this in detail. Here you yourself will get a lot of great impressions from the bottomless and colorful, like an aquarium, the sea and from the gentle sun and from the ancient ruins bewitching with their power. I think it’s better to feel it at least once for yourself than to select the appropriate adjectives, which are still not enough to express all the African beauty and beauty of the Red Sea. My dears, just do not believe those who, having seen a lizard or an exotic beetle accidentally crawling in their room, write in their review that the room is teeming with insects and various cockroaches. Maybe it is somewhere, but not Pyramis Blue Laguna.

Do not believe those who see a couple of steamboats near the beach and write that oil and fuel oil can be extracted in the sea. Steamboats are an integral part of any beach, and in terms of cleanliness they surpass any of our river buses. Someone may not like the pestering and importunity of local merchants, and especially their rudeness - dear Russians - you yourself taught them obscene words and hard-hitting jokes, laughing at their lack of education, and now you yourself don’t like it all. They themselves are to blame. You better look at the Arabs - they all know at least 3 languages, unlike many of us. And how many of you have at least some dictionary at home on the table or at the workplace in the office? Yes, almost no one! And almost everyone is there. They seek knowledge and culture. And we have the whole culture only in the market and the bazaar, But we all go here on a show-off. It's not disgusting from the Arabs, who are in many ways cleaner than us . .
but from those "foreigners" who only know how to show off and at the same time curse everyone and everything. Do not believe those who sow enmity between nations, believing that Russians are discriminated against there and put in separate restaurants. All this is nonsense. And who doesn’t like that in the local market a beggar pulled their hand and asked for alms - then let him go to Dubai to the Sail Hotel and sit there for 10.000 bucks a day and swear at the staff. But this is probably the lot of rich moneybags and oligarchs, if they are not okay, and you and I are ordinary average people who saved up for this holiday for a year. Let's not spoil the mood for ourselves or others. To summarize, for everything I can put only one mark - "excellent". I recommend this hotel to everyone. I hope to return here myself, especially since when you visit again they give a 10% discount, and you will agree that this is also great.
