We rested with my mother. Considering that a week before us, my colleague and her husband were here, we were already mentally prepared for many surprises and features of this hotel. But let's start in order.
When we checked in, we immediately put $ 15 in our passports and began to wait, hoping for a good option. By the way, those who did not deposit money were hinted in a completely opaque way that it was worth doing it, otherwise, you know, we have all sorts of numbers, there are some that are completely unpleasant. While everyone was being processed, we were shown the "canteen" and fed from the road. After dinner the rooms were ready. We got 5002, according to them, the number is just super, divine! It is located in a remote bungalow on the ground floor, with a large terrace. The room itself is also quite spacious. For the delivery of suitcases, we cost a dollar.
As for the number itself, in principle, there are no complaints, with the exception of a couple of small things: for example, the "liquid soap dish" had a broken side, and therefore the soap did not drip; bed linen was changed twice during the whole time, and the last one was on the eve of departure; the windows in their African houses are not tight, so the wind walks like that at night . . (who is sensitive to drafts - it’s better not to lie down next to the balcony) ... Several times large African ants crawled into the bathroom, but we coped with them on our own, the pest control service did not call. In other rooms, they said, there were a lot of mosquitoes, so they were poisoned there! We met a cockroach only once, and then on the street . . But he looked very intimidating - the size of a palm!

The cleaners were annoying . . Because they constantly burst into the room, and not to clean it, but to ask "Clean? ", hoping to get an affirmative answer and do nothing! !
In general, it should be noted that the Egyptians are lazy people (at least judging by the employees of this hotel), do not move once again without urgent need or financial stimulation. Once, of course, this same "cleaner" gave us an extravaganza: we ironed our things, laid them out beautifully on the bed, so that we could dress them later, and boldly went to breakfast ... When we returned, all the beds were in flowers, a duck from a towel and...wonderful bows from our dresses! Well, I haven’t twisted it into a snake yet ... But I was more embarrassed not by the fact that everything was hopelessly crumpled, but by the fact that they do not disdain to touch things and dispose of them as if they were their own. Afterwards, we just put up "Do Not Disturb" signs when there was no need for cleaning, so it's calmer.
Stalouka. . Calling it a restaurant is not quite right... It seems that they claim such a title, but they fall short.
The principle is this: they lay tables, lay out napkins and cutlery, everything is civilized and beautiful, BUT! For the first client only. That is, what is called, whoever had time, he ate it. All subsequent ones sit in the crumbs and leftovers of the previous ones, looking for forks all over the hall and bring their napkins. Because, well, with their slowness, they do not have time to quickly restore beauty to everyone again. It would be better if these forks were freely available, but no, the status does not allow - you have to be served : ) Plates and cups are also missing, and many of them are cracked and chipped. It does not bother me at all, but the impression is not the same . . Not a restaurant - a stalk! In fairness, I must say that the food, in contrast to the service, is very, very decent! What made me personally happy both for lunch and dinner was always three types of meat: beef, chicken and fish (in different variations, with different sauces, and real ones, not soy barbiturate, which we were once stuffed with in Turkey).

Always rice, pasta and potatoes. The latter, of course, was far from ideal for our Belarusian sophisticated stomach. But rice (even green-yellow! ) is very tasty. Fresh vegetables: cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, peppers, olives, beans, etc. All kinds of pastries (especially chocolate sausage with cookies - you'll lick your fingers! ) And strained with fruit: orange-tangerine quarters, black dates, a couple of times guava (it seems it was her, according to rumors), and the last two days - melon salad with apples in sweet water. There is no coffee for lunch and dinner in the restaurant, only in bars, but there is nothing for coffee in them ... Like in that fairy tale about a pipe and a jug ... And, for breakfast, they baked scrambled eggs with filling to your taste: pepper, tomatoes or sausages. And very tasty pancakes, with their jams, they went for a sweet soul. There is another restaurant in which, according to the guide, everything is the same, only for a fee, because it no longer belongs to the Tez tour.
And this same guide beat his chest and claimed that there is no difference in food in these restaurants, because everything is cooked in the same kitchen, and if you, they say, find at least something else, then I will personally give you 100 dollars! Feel free to agree to such a dispute, because the differences are huge! ! ! Every evening they had meat on the grill (well, you can’t hide the smell : )), fruits all the time (and blocks, and melons, and strawberries), etc. So we didn’t understand what really caused this segregation, but in the "paid" restaurant, mostly Germans and really brave Russians ate, who pretended to be Germans: (by the way, absolutely free! ), and stalouka - Russians and sometimes other nationalities (apparently, those that are poorer : ))) . At the pool bar you can take drinks, as well as during the day all sorts of buns that are left over from breakfast. Plus they give you ice cream. Very decent fruit and vanilla, and chocolate - a real ice cream! ! Just again...
if you are a German, they will give you at least five glasses in one hand, and Russians - no more than 2. Well, is that discrimination? What do you? And it doesn't matter what language you speak, even if it's an unknown Mayan dialect, they still know that you are Russian : ) There are only drinks in the lobby bar, and the service looks unkindly to those who come here with their buns to drink a cup of coffee. There is also a bar on the beach where you can drink all the drinks and sometimes "snatch" pastries.
Beach. The beach is good. We were still at a time when it was a little cool, so the sea was not very warm either . . Therefore, there were few people on the beach, and free places could always be found. Getting to the beach is completely stress-free on their minibus, which runs every half an hour.

Sometimes there are a lot of people, but it takes literally 7 minutes to drive (they just have completely incomprehensible traffic rules, according to which you need to drive around half the city to turn left and get to the beaches : )), and only 3 minutes back : ). The sand is strange on the beach. All rolled, dense as a concrete slab, and sticks tightly to the legs, as if mixed with cement. At the water's edge there are small pebbles, literally a meter, and then there is normal sand in the water, sometimes only cobblestones come across, so you still need to be careful. The water itself is clear and very salty, if splashes get into your eyes, then run to the soul! : )) Sometimes all sorts of rubbish floats in the water, which, apparently, is dumped from boats: banana skins, cigarette butts, and once even shoes! Another small minus - the sunbeds were all without mattresses on the beach, just plastic (but they said that they would fix everything by the season, so April is not the season yet! ) By the pools, the sunbeds are good, wooden and with mattresses.
Only now, towards the end of the month, when there were much more vacationers, it is almost impossible to find a place near the pool. But again, by the season they were supposed to open the largest, third, pool after reconstruction, so that the "sleeping" places under the sun should increase. Beach towels are issued in a special house by the pool on the cards, which will be issued upon check-in. By and large, it is fashionable not to hand over these towels every day, because they, it seems, do not wash them, but only dry them. So it's better to use your own dirty towel than someone else's dirty towel : )
Animation. On the one hand, she is completely relaxed, that is, she does not run around and does not stick to you with stupid offers of all sorts of games, on the other hand, everyone who is thirsty can do aqua aerobics, gymnastics, volleyball (standard set). In the evening they organize various performances.
There was a show "1000 and one night" (oriental dances), Irish dances, some other dances ... In general, different, but dancing ! ! ! They just have the most basic one - a dancer, that's all there is to it. And, I'm lying, there was also the show "Mr. Hotel". so-so ... It’s also inconvenient that it starts at 10, i. e. after dinner, poor people wander around the territory with nothing to do, wait, everyone is exhausted, many already spit on this show and go to the room ... Or to the top they are already getting so drunk in a bar that they don’t give a damn about this show either.
Language. To be honest, it's a myth that English will make life easier for you there. Only a couple of people at the reception really know English, all the rest skillfully pretend to speak it. Well, as we say, with a dictionary. That is, more than "How are you", "What's your name" and "You are very beautiful" none of them can overpower. The same situation is with Russian. They do not go beyond their specifics.

Therefore, if there is a desire to tell them something in English or explain, do not flatter yourself too much, at most they will smile in response, but they will not understand anything. By the way, I didn’t check German, maybe at least it’s within their control, because they love the Germans : )
Well, the rest... Africa. It was not in vain that they warned us in childhood, do not go, children, to walk in Africa : ))) Because their obsession and real rudeness reaching the point of aggression . . simply discourages any desire to go to this country again. This is not so much about the hotel, but about the people on the streets. Merchants... they are ready to cut your throat, just to sell it at a higher price! ! And if you don't want to! then blame yourself! ! You learn a lot about yourself.
In general, the hotel can still be sustained, but their morals ... Personally, I was convinced that vacationing in Europe is much more pleasant!
So see you in Bulgaria or Montenegro!
