They've just returned! The holiday was a 100% success! We chose one hotel, but at the last minute changed our minds and bought a ticket to the Pyramisa Blue Lagoon Resort 5 *. Reviews were read only before departure and with horror imagined this holiday. Another flight was delayed and more than an hour had to sit in the plane and wait for takeoff. Arrived quickly (3 hours). I had to stand in line for an hour to get a visa at Hurghada airport! That's where all the bad stuff ended. Then everything went like clockwork. Met well, Coraltravel respect. Representatives brought the suitcases to the bus, it did not take long to get to the hotel.
The hotel immediately stood out as a heavenly place one of the tall buildings, snow-white in color and not peeled off. Issued in 10 minutes, for $ 10 they gave a good room on the 4th floor in a building next to the main one. As it turned out, the worst room is the first floor in the bungalow. Therefore, it is better to immediately pay for a normal number.
The suitcases were brought to the room without problems, the key did not work and the peddler himself ran away and settled everything, for which he rightly received two euros from us! They cleaned the room well, washed the floors every day, changed towels, folded cosmetics beautifully and twisted pleasant surprises from towels! Naturally, in gratitude for this, we left a dollar on the bed every day.
Nutrition. We ate in both restaurants without problems, it turned out three months ago that separate meals for foreigners and Russian speakers were canceled. The staff speaks a little Russian, but mostly everyone communicates in English! The food is normal, everyone will find a menu to their liking. You won't be hungry for sure. They cook eggplant and fish very tasty! And pastries and soufflé s are generally delicious. The dishes are often not washed very well, but you can always choose a clean plate. For lunch, the pool bar serves excellent pizza and ice cream, which is more like frozen juice.
Their juices are lousy, locally produced alcohol - beer is normal, white wine with ice can be drunk, whiskey and rum are not an asset.
The staff is friendly and all our requests were always fulfilled. The main thing is to communicate with them politely and with a smile. Treat them the way you want them to treat you, because they are also people and respond to rudeness in the same way. Tipping is their main source of income, so don't spare money on it. True, sometimes they are intrusive, but you can always politely slip away from them!
Our guide Ahmed from koroltravel is just a super boy! Of course, as everyone recommends buying excursions from him, but it is not necessary to do so. We bought from him, although it’s better to buy on the beach - it’s half the price there, all the same, all excursions are eventually presented by the local Odeonfirma. At the expense of insurance on these excursions, I think bullshit. All the tourists drove to the guides of the teztour, and we didn’t like them either ...unpleasant types.
Although it has always been believed that teztour is better than coral travel.
There is a bus every 15 minutes to the beach, we didn't walk! The beach is great for sunbathing and swimming. Safety shoes are not needed, there is sand everywhere. There are no fish either! If you want to see the fish, book excursions to the island. Try windsurfing on the beach. It's scary at first, but then great! I like it!
From excursions we took one of the islands, which we advise you. There you can see coral reefs and fish. Fins and masks are provided free of charge.
