I decided to write a short review about the Pyramisa blue lagoon hotel in Hurghada. I hope the information will be useful to at least someone, since the hotel is new and they write quite a bit about it (we rested in April, at that moment the hotel had been working for 5 months, maybe a little more). And there is something to write about ...(I will pay the most attention to negative points, I already really like to spoil everything : )

Pyramisa blue lagoon is positioned as a 5-star hotel of the second line. It is located in the southern part of Hurghada, just in the place where completed hotels end and mass construction begins.

The hotel area corresponds to all five stars - several huge pools with fountains and bridges, all kinds of flowers, bushes and palm trees, green grass, small 2 and 3-storey villas. There is a tennis court (you can play for 1 hour for the whole holiday for free), a disco, a couple of working restaurants (one of them is free), 3-4 bars.

The rooms are small but quite comfortable (typical three star hotel room). On the first floors of the villas there are large balconies from which there is a descent to the lawn, where you can lie on the grass. But as it turned out, hotels of a similar level have heated pools, but Pyramise does not.

You can either walk to the beach for 5 minutes or take a bus that runs every 30 minutes (sometimes every 15, it seems it depends on some kind of magnetic storms: ). You will have to walk near the construction site and through the wasteland

The beach itself is sandy, clean, well-groomed, there is a bar, shower and toilet, animators constantly organize volleyball and all sorts of gymnastics.

But around the beach is complete devastation and desolation.

There are several unpleasant moments on the beach:

* boats are moored on both sides and in the evening, when they all return, the beach "smells" of gasoline.
* dudes are actively working on the beach, advertising tattoos, excursions and souvenirs.
and they do it very persistently, the same ones come up several times a day. Although their excursions are cheaper than those of a tour operator, on the third day, this is already starting to strain a little. I'm not sure that this is normal in a five-star hotel...By the way, these dudes also hang around the territory of the hotel, only there are not so many of them and they are not so persistent.
* you can’t get to the beach in the evening (I like to sit near the sea at night ... ), firstly, because I just don’t want to roam around such a “non-romantic” territory in the evening; secondly, there is a gate to the beach, which most likely closes in the evening.
* Towels must be taken at the hotel, they are not issued on the beach.
* a mask on the beach is useless - the sea here is not so "Red" anymore (for comparison, last time we were in Taba - there is really a rich underwater world! ).

Of the pleasant moments - you can swim without slippers, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, there is music, volleyball and a bar : )
In general, the hotel could well deserve 4 plus, if not for the service and food. Before that, I only traveled to 3-star hotels. And then as many as 5 stars and ..."No, no difference bitch! " (c) Galygin.

The choice of dishes is meager and always the same, and not only every day, but also for lunch and dinner, they give almost the same thing. At the same time, they have a constant shortage of dishes, especially glasses. Therefore, pour everything into plastic cups !! ! Even in 3 star hotels, I have not seen this. Beer from plastic cups half-filled with foam - no thanks. Better in a restaurant outside the hotel (10 Egyptian pounds per glass - not so much).

A bunch of staff, half of which are stupid boys who do not understand either English or Russian. Clueless, even for Arabs.

Another questionable point is the safes in the rooms.
They are, but for some reason, no matter what code you set, there is a wonderful combination 123456 #, which will open it anyway ...

And to add even more negative - there is no soap and shampoo in the rooms (there is something similar to liquid soap in tricky vessels, from which I was not able to extract this very soap).

It seems to be everything, it seems that I have not forgotten anything. No, I still remember. There are few sun loungers near the pools, so people put their towels on them in the morning - like they are busy. And yet, in the restaurant and bars, there are constant queues.

Here is such a hotel. It looks nice, but the total rating with service and food is 3 plus. Before leaving, many said the same thing: "So I wanted to stay for a couple more days ...only in another hotel! ".
