It was the first time in Egypt, the hotel was chosen so that it was calm, first line, heated pool, good food. Almost everything was like that. We arrived at the hotel at 6pm and checked in right away. The administrator was tired and unfriendly, as it seemed to us, then we found out that this was his constant mood) We asked for a room with a sea view, it turned out that we had to pay extra 50$, 10$ for each day of stay. With difficulty we bargained for 25. The porter picked up our things and led us to the room, for which he stood and waited for a tip. They explained that there were no small ones, showed with gestures that he would give change. We liked the room, snow-white linen and towels, clean and fresh. New furniture, plasma on the wall, kettle with tea and sugar. We had wifi in our room. He was also in the bar and in the lobby. I wanted to take a shower, but it turned out that there was no hot water, as we could wash ourselves in cold water. When I started to find out at the reception why there was no water, the administrator pretended not to understand anything. Empirically, later found out that the water should drain for 5-10 minutes to go hot. Nobody warned about it.
Cleaning was every day, they left a tip, sometimes they twisted animals from towels. They didn’t leave me once, they were left without drinking water and without tea) By the way, it’s absolutely impossible to drink tap water, they say, and brush your teeth too. I read a lot of reviews, took a full first-aid kit with me, nothing came in handy, except for the cream before and after sunburn.
Nutrition. Everything is fresh and tasty. Loved the feta type cheese for breakfast and the milk. Delicious desserts and vegetables. There was little meat. There were also few fish, only one species. According to reviews, they wrote that they spoiled someone with seafood, we were not lucky. Once they surprised me with a baked whole turkey and once with grilled quails. We noticed that the waiters serve mainly the Germans, they consider them rich. We gave a tip to the waiter, he then came up to us, brought drinks. Once they gave the bartender, he clung and as he saw us, begged for more. It was exhausting and unnerving. If I didn’t get it, they would give more. In general, it was delicious, my husband, who suffers from eternal heartburn, never thought about it.

Guide Mohamed imposed on us a tour, bought for two in Luxor. I decided that I didn’t really want to spend the whole day on the ruins. It turned out that I can refuse only within 2 hours after payment, but not less than 48 hours before the tour. The money will be returned if their physician confirms your state of inactivity, for this you need to call a doctor. Rave. Think a hundred times before taking something from a guide, it's more expensive than the locals, and there is no turning back. I can't help saying that Mohamed helped us with currency exchange and helped us to cash in a banknote with a hole, which was not accepted anywhere. Thanks to him for this.
Swimming pool. Reduced the score for the fact that the water was cold, although they wrote that it was heated. Most of the day it is in the shade, which is probably a plus in summer. But in February, the cold wind and cold water, shade, did not want to swim. The water seemed warmer in the sea. We already wrote that the beach is not for swimming, we went to the beach of the neighboring hotel to swim, and walked there, its territory is larger and greener. There was also a bar where there were evening entertainment of animators.
Animation. She is. Every evening the guys of all vacationers were dragged almost by the hand to the show program. We went a couple of times, it was not bad, but the people quickly scattered. In the morning near the pool, the day began with songs and dances of the animators themselves, then there was yoga.
From the first day on the beach, various guides and photographers swoop in like kites and obsessively offer their services. We took a trip on a yacht with fishing and a visit to a paradise island, from the guys whose office was right on the beach. The price is ridiculous, the organization is great. Cons, cold wind, very cold and did not catch anything. When we went to Luxor, we left the hotel at 4 am. They promised that we would go for 3 hours, we drove all five. They gave me dry rations. Very scarce. On our return we were promised a late dinner. We arrived, no one said anything. They fed us again with the same dry ration)

We decided to take a walk. We left the hotel, a bunch of taxi drivers, took one, asked to be taken to the fish market for a dollar. He turned out to be sincere, took us to the market, bargained, waited until the grilled shrimp was cooked for us, then took us to the vegetable market, found us a mango, which I really wanted (and not in vain, very tasty! ), although it was not the season for mangoes and took me to the hotel. He rode with us for two hours, they paid him 4 dollars, he was happy. Then, as he saw us in the lobby of the hotel, he signaled and waved to us) As they were leaving, he ran to hug)
Souvenirs. Go to the souvenir shop for Adam and Victor right next to the hotel bar. Nice people, you can bargain well and drink tea and smoke hookah with them)
With all the little minuses, more good impressions about the hotel. We will definitely return there again!
