Vacationing with my husband. Initially, they planned Turkey, but while they decided on the date of the trip, everything decent at affordable prices (I wanted to invest $ 1000) either went to the stop or went up in price. The last experience of a holiday in Egypt (the Lido Sharm Hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh) was, to put it mildly, not so successful in comparison with the previous Turkey. But in the end it turned out that with such Egypt and Turkey is not necessary! We were very pleased, intuition did not disappoint. I chose the hotel myself, there are few reviews about it, and not everything is clear. We wanted a modern, new hotel, on the 1st line with good food, we got what we wanted.
The location suited us perfectly, there is where to walk, there are enough shops, pharmacies nearby, 20 minutes walk to the Carrefour store with fixed prices (there we bought mangoes for 17 pounds, pomegranates for 9, etc. ).
Our room was beautiful (No. 493 on the 4th floor), 2-room with a view of the pools, the lagoon and the sea. The repair is new, modern, there is air conditioning in every room, we turned it on only during the day, at night we slept with an open balcony. Very spacious bathroom, new plumbing, shampoo, gel, soap is always available. Of course, everything is somehow "Egyptian", the renovation is new, but already somewhere a piece of tile is missing, and draining is generally a problem, but these are such trifles that did not spoil our mood. After all, everything around is beautiful, clean. The room was conscientiously cleaned every day, towels were not changed every day, and there was no need. The water was always replenished. From a conversation with vacationers, I realized that the repair is not the same everywhere, the style is different, the furniture is different, but everyone noted that all the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable enough, no one complained.
The hotel area is small, but cozy, well-groomed, maybe I would like more palm trees, but the hotel is new, I think they will plant more. And so everything is quite tasteful, bushes, flowers, it was pleasant to be there.
The food suited us 100%, every day something new and interesting. For 6 days (2 days fell on excursions) 2 times there were sandwiches with red fish with a beautiful serving, grilled quails, duck, lamb, chicken, turkey, veal all the time, usually 3-4 types of meat and fish, cooked differently, squid several times. No queues at all anywhere. The only thing we didn't like was the pizza, we tried it once and didn't take it again. I will not list everything they fed there, but believe me, for a 4-ki this is more than. The same opinion was expressed by others, more experienced than us vacationers.
The choice of fruit is sufficient, there were melons, bananas, oranges, plums, pears, guava, apples, grapes, pomegranates, various dates. Various sweets, I mostly ate oriental ones, there were days when there were not enough of them, or they were simply taken apart faster. The restaurant has all the standard drinks, coffee from the machine, natural juices only for money, we drank beer from alcoholic drinks, it’s quite normal, but we didn’t like the wine, sour, from bags. The service is good, everything was cleaned quickly, they offered to bring the "drink" themselves. In general, the staff is very pleasant, it seems that you are really welcome here.

And most importantly, the sea. Everything suited us. The lagoon with sea water is sometimes deeper, sometimes shallower, depending on the ebb and flow of the tide. We bought corals there for $ 6 and went swimming on the left side of the lagoon, the sea is beautiful there, there are fish, quite interesting, there is something to see with a mask. The sea is always warmer than the lagoon. The beach is spacious, sun loungers, umbrellas are always enough at any time. The main thing is that all the sun loungers are at a sufficient distance from each other, no one bothers anyone. The beach is constantly being cleaned and the sand is being raked. In general, the staff tries their best. There is a bar on the beach. Quite tolerable cocktails, beer, fanta and more.
The animation team is very attentive, friendly, well done, they try to organize the leisure of guests. Evening shows are good, it was interesting.
The contingent of vacationers is in most Europe - Germans, Poles, Slovaks. There are very few Russian speakers, maybe for the better. There are very few local people.
