Vacationing in Egypt for the first time. Despite the 3 stars, everything was very pleasant. Departure from Kyiv. Operator Turtess organized a free transfer from the railway station. from the railway station to Borispol and on arrival back, which is very convenient. In Hurghada, too, there are no problems with paperwork, buses are organized, everything is fast and of high quality. The hotel itself is small but beautiful. I had to pay $20 baksheesh for a decent room, but this is Egypt and it's worth it. But there were still problems with the sewerage (see old pipes). To the beach 2 minutes, beauty. The Red Sea is indescribable. A lot of fish, saw a stingray, a lot of hedgehogs, so you need to buy slippers (2 pairs of slippers - 50 pounds or 10 dollars). It is better to exchange dollars immediately upon arrival at the airport for pounds. Everything is cheaper in pounds (rate 1 dollar-5.7 feet). The food is excellent, a lot of meat, rice, pancakes, buns, various cakes. Vodichka can be bought in stores for 2 pounds. In general, the old city in Hurghada is a separate issue,
it must be seen. It's hard to walk past shops without buying anything. The Russian language is everywhere both in the hotel and in the city, so there are no problems with communication (some Arabs can speak Ukrainian a little, which was very surprising). But a little English is better to learn, it's easier.
Excursions are better to take on the beach, 2 times cheaper. We went to a paradise island-super. The local guide from Turtess Mohammed, apart from trying to sell us excursions at exorbitant prices, and in a very intrusive form, did no more work. And after refusing to buy excursions from him, they did not see him again at the hotel. This is of course a minus.
