The first, and, probably, determining all further impressions of the hotel is the ARABISKY hotel. Yes, before going on this trip, I read in the reviews that Arab weddings and other celebrations are held there. Well, there will be some local color. Moreover, I have always tried to find hotels where there are a minimum number of our compatriots, as well as people from the fraternal Slavic republics (it is often a shame for the behavior of some vacationers). And here it is! We found such a hotel! There were 5-7 citizens of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine taken together. There was also one tourist from the Czech Republic, one German (presumably). Everything else is Arab families, large, noisy, large families (((Probably, local hoteliers can be understood. In the absence of a tourist from Europe, they somehow need to survive.
Probably, for this reason, they organize mass arrivals (for 2-4 days) from Luxor, Aswan and other cities, of which there are probably many more in the desert expanses of Egypt. And everything would be fine. I understand that children are the flowers of life, but it would be better if they bloomed somewhere on the territory of another hotel. A complete lack of education is still the weakest assessment. Children (of all ages) rush around the territory, knock everything in their path, shout the only word they know: "Hallo", and if someone ignores them, they can grab them by the arms - by the legs. The first time I came across that they are begging for money right in the hotel, although it is clear that these are far from the poorest segments of the population of Egypt. Thus, we were in the vast minority : -))) Even tourists from Moscow. who rest in
this hotel is already 15 (!! ! ) years old, they said that they had never seen such a dominance of the Arab population. Now about the hotel itself. The rooms are different.

The furniture is not new, the air conditioners are noisy, there is NO hair dryer. I did not see living creatures in the form of spider bugs and other insects. Cleaned quite tolerably, regardless of the tip left. Safe only at the reception, 1 pound per day. I advise you to use. I can’t say anything about thefts in the rooms, but on the beach my cell phone was stolen on the second day of my stay, straight from the beach bag. In five years of visiting resorts in different countries, this happened for the first time. The theft was committed by Arab teenagers who were hanging out on the beach. However, since I didn’t see the very moment of the theft, I couldn’t point to someone specifically, especially since they all look the same for us (as we do for them). Negotiations with the hotel administration did not lead to anything, as well as with the guide "Coral Travel".
I didn’t see the point of contacting the police, since I didn’t have a phone code, and since I know how stolen phones are searched for in Egypt (just like in Russia), I said goodbye to mine in the first minutes. The guide didn’t particularly insist on the first day, but later, after talking with his management, he hypocritically began to offer to go to the police with him, saying that the phone would still not be found. I refused, after which he began to ask me to write a paper that I had no complaints against anyone and I almost lost my phone myself : -))) Naturally, I also refused such an offer. Well, this is a lyrical digression. Let's go back to the hotel. NUTRITION. Since I had half board, I can describe breakfast and dinner. So breakfast. Omelet, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, black olives, cheese, cheese. Yes, and sausage, the quality of which does not need a description. Local cats and dogs refused to eat it.
Yes, beans and milk noodle soup, which were preferred by Arab guests. Very tasty pastry! Drinks - diluted "Yuppie", as well as tea and coffee. I managed to taste good coffee only once, when the public coffee pot ran out of water and they generously put as many as 2 (!! ! ) spoons of coffee in a cup. It was a fairy tale! A long forgotten taste! Then I saw that 3 to 4 teaspoons of coffee are put on the whole coffee pot. Perhaps that is why its color resembles weakly brewed tea. Dinner. Soup, meat is always, of course, beef, as well as chicken, fish. Side dishes - rice, pasta, potatoes, beans. Salads, but some not very edible. Desserts are beyond praise. Something, but the Egyptians know how to do it. Lots of pastries, cakes, eclairs and other goodies. From fruits, only oranges. All drinks at dinner are paid.
Therefore, everyone came with their own bottles of water, since there was no desire to take what they call coffee in this hotel for 8 pounds. In general, during my stay at the hotel, no one died of hunger. It didn’t bother me, since I’m generally indifferent to food, but for lovers of tasty and hearty food, staying in this hotel would probably cause sad thoughts and a desire to quickly return to borscht and pork chop. : -))). SEA AND BEACH. This is the most important thing for which we are going to Egypt. Entry into the sea on stone steps, sand in places, stones and corals in places, special shoes are desirable, although I did without them. The shore is shallow, who wants to look at corals and fish, there is a ladder from the pier, it is deep enough there. The local bathing population is a solid exotic!

Entering the water in a bathing suit, you feel like a savage from the Mumbo Yumbo tribe, since Arab women, as well as most men, bathe exclusively in clothes. Religion! At the same time, they will wash : -))) The water is warm, 25-26 degrees. Sharks did not meet! So, it's time to sum up. If you are willing to pay a relatively small amount for a stay at this hotel, and are ready to meet with local exotic (and as far as I understand, this will continue until the end of August, i. e. until the end of school holidays), then - Welcome to Sand Beach Hotel . In fairness, I would like to note that in the Geisum hotel next door to our hotel there was not such a large number of Arab populations, only Europeans rested. And according to their reviews, both food and service are better there. Although 2 stars!
