We decided to go back to Egypt. Went with a friend as my husband couldn't work. Before that, they were in five stars, now they decided to save money and went to 4 stars.
As for the check-in, everything went without questions, quickly and clearly (after 20 minutes we were already going up to the room). The porter picked up the luggage. We were accommodated in a new building in a room overlooking the pool (they said that we were very lucky, since such rooms are usually occupied). The room is fresh, two new beds, LCD TV, well furnished, although the furniture is far from new, the shower is clean, there was even a hair cap. Minibar, in principle, is not bad: cola, fanta, juice was standing, but we took advantage of it. I also didn't really like the lack of a kettle, but that's for tea drinkers like us. I won’t write about the fact that everything is much easier in 4 stars, and everything is clear.
I didn’t really like the food, because from a small amount of products, especially meat (as far as I understood, there were only beef and chicken from meat), they try to come up with some kind of variety and this is immediately evident. Despite this, there are no complaints about the taste. For lovers of the exotic, there are local dishes. There were very few fruits, but in principle everything suited us. The first time I encountered the fact that there was not enough space for dinner, I had to wait...

A couple of times we went out into the city and ate at McDonald's (it is located not far from the hotel). A 20-minute walk from the hotel there is a fish market, we were cut and cooked right there, the fish that we ourselves chose, very tasty and cool. And in general, I liked the location of the hotel in the city zone, there is where to take a walk (unless, of course, you can fight off local sellers).
The only thing we bought from the locals was an excursion (here, as I understand it, everyone does this, but it’s much more expensive to do it in a hotel). We went to Luxor. The place is beautiful and slightly distracts from the usual landscapes, I highly recommend getting there to everyone who has not been, the photos are amazing, they also went to the banana plantation. And they ate plenty of fruit - everything was of the highest standard. We were offered two more trips to the paradise island, but we chose the island of utopia - super! I really enjoyed riding a yacht, sailing from the island into the sea, there is such a beautiful white sand, fine, just wonderful, I recommend it, and all the trips cost us very cheap, we found out it was twice as expensive in the hotel.
The hotel area is quite large and ennobled, a lot of greenery, exterior items. Good clean pools - swam a couple of times in total, but we still came to the sea. There is a water park, but we never got there, but we stopped at the minizoo every time to feed the monkeys, like small children (but fun).
The beach is awesome. Actually, there are two of them, and they're both great. True, the one near the old building is dirty, so we hardly swam there. The sunbeds are always occupied almost from seven in the morning, but we learned that for a couple of bucks you can always find a couple of free ones without unnecessary nerves, swearing and early awakenings and didn’t worry about it. The entertainment was also very enjoyable. The animators tried and entertained as best they could, they did it very professionally.
Bottom line: for Egypt, Hurghada and 4 * everything is very decent
