Hotel SEA STAR - Egypt Hurghada. Now 5 stars, before it was like 4.10 - 15 minutes to the old town on foot.
Were May-June 2010. There are 10% Russians in the hotel, the rest are Italians, French, Poles, Germans from the provinces (ours, who fled from Kazakhstan, Turks, Poles . . ), there are Englishmen, Arabs. They are waiting for us in the very heat, probably only we can survive . . , although it is strange.
A hotel with a good beach, clean large rooms, good cuisine, with unobtrusive animation, but visible and audible. Every evening a show, when it's successful, when... but nothing like that. Music sounds in the background on the beaches, a very good selection. Well done DJ, good taste, by the way, at the disco he looks at the mood and age of the audience, he doesn’t put down what they ask for.
While there are frozen construction sites near the hotel, the sea is all around, it changes its mood like a person, it is very beautiful.

Somewhere in the reviews I saw pictures showing, supposedly, a view from the rooms to a construction site, there is none. Rooms are given on arrival without any money, in the left wing of the hotel rooms are only to the pool and part of the sea, common corridors go to the construction site, they don’t accommodate there, gee . . , gee...
The service is fast, although $1 will speed up the customer's memory.
About the sea - not surprised. Good, magical, but rather weak in terms of fauna, not ARABIA, but better than Sinbady, it is alive, with crabs, squids, hedgehogs, stars, shells also run around. It changed color, generally great for those who don’t abuse diving . . Herrings, of course, swim, but I’m not talking about that . . Sand - children dangled without slippers, hedgehogs jellyfish, everything is at a depth, well, excellent...
The hotel is clean, comfortable, they wash, rub everything with rags, glass, mirrors, floors are really clean, even sand dust has never been deposited on the balcony table. Even the spa was clean.
The Arabs in the hotel are not annoying and courteous, I liked it very much.
Restaurant - sometimes you come across dishes with gray stains, but you take off 2-3 plates and it seems to be clean. No one had any digestive disorders for 2 weeks, although we did not eat any sauces. But these are personal preferences . . There is a lot of food, mostly chicken dishes, pastries, fruits, everything is so without fanaticism.
The hotel is very calm. About bars - bars work, pour, make cocktails, excellent bartenders. Vacationers are not divided into Russians and others, everything is friendly, but this is in my opinion. The sunbeds went to take on the 1st, 2nd line of the beach. The rest of the places were always under the ground, though beach fights for $ 1 and you would have been laid near the sea, gee. .
Young people are only German, Italian, but cheerful, they bathe in the pool at night. Yells and sings songs, whoever is bored can join, they will not mind.
The atmosphere is conducive to a great rest, and everything else depends on your desire or not....

All questions, if any, can be resolved through the reception. The guide sits purely for excursions, who knows not for the first time abroad that guides are guides everywhere....I love Egypt, the hotel did not spoil the 8th stay, for which a special THANK YOU!!!
Hurghada is developing, improving, which is nice. Something like that.
