Rested with my husband in this hotel from July 9 to July 20.2011. It's definitely not 5*, but a solid 4*. The hotel is small but comfortable. The territory is neat and green. Now about the sea - a very convenient entrance to the sea, but on the right side of the beach. Even at low tide you can swim. You don't have to go to the pier. The beach is sandy and nice.
The rooms are old, but neat and clean well, even if you don't leave a dollar. There was no theft. We did not use the safe at the reception, we had it in the room.
This is where the advantages of the hotel end.

Now about the shortcomings: the most important thing is the attitude of the attendants. Russian speakers are treated with disdain and try to serve as late as possible. Upon arrival, for the first three days, the husband each time gave the bartender a dollar and we waited for the attitude to improve. But no changes happened. For Italians and Germans, juices and cocktails are poured in normal portions into a glass, and for Russians and Ukrainians - half a plastic glass. We are talking not only about alcohol, but also about Coca-Cola, beer, just water. Natural coffee in bars is paid.
You come in the morning at 7 am to the beach - the first three rows of sun loungers are already occupied. Beach boys sell these places to Italians and Germans for $5. From a sun lounger by the pool, Italians can easily throw off your towel, take a sun lounger and pretend that nothing happened. The hotel administrators do not interfere in anything and react only after the Tour-Tessa guide speaks with them. His name is Tarik, he speaks Russian well, he is absolutely sane and a normal person. If he is not in the hotel, I advise you to contact the girls at the reception Masha and Evita. Sometimes they can help.
Animation is quite boring, but Russian-speaking. Sometimes there are interesting programs, such as oriental dances or the choice of "Mr. Hotel".
The cuisine is no better and no worse than in other hotels in Egypt. We were not poisoned by anything, but cases of poisoning happened to the girls who came on the same race with us. True, there were no problems with calling a doctor and treating.
There are a lot of locals in the hotel. And everything would be fine, but very noisy. A family of 7-8 people manages to settle in a standard double room (and 5 of them are small children under 6 years old) and constantly say something loudly in their own language.
As for the excursion to the leather factory, I do not advise anyone. There is nothing special there. Prices are at the level of Kiev and even higher. You can go only if you want to see Hurghada at night for free.
And what about excursions? We bought everything from Tour-Tess guide. Expensive but no problem. We do not advise you to go to Luxor and Cairo in the summer - the heat is incredible. People got sick. If you still decide to get to Luxor - choose a guide named Hasan. Wonderfully conducts excursions with umr and informative. He doesn’t overload with information, but what he tells you remember right away.

And as a summary: the hotel does not cost more than $ 1.500 for a ticket and is not intended for the rest of young active people. Our vacation turned out to be just so good that it was not a pity to leave.
I forgot to write: a visa to Egypt costs 15 dollars, but at the airport at the Tour-Tessa counters they took us 17 each and did not explain why.
