Good day to all!
Third time in Egypt. Were in Sharm in JAS MIRABEL 5* and in Soma Bay Caribean5*. There are no complaints about these hotels. Everything is on the level (it was at least)
Emotions subsided, I am writing a review, I was in Mamluk from September 19-26.2011, I arrived on my birthday. The four of us, my husband, and my son and girlfriend went. We took 2 standards.
ARRIVAL Upon arrival, there is only one claim: visas are now glued by representatives of the travel agency (in our case, ANEX tour) everything is very fast, but at $ 17 for a visa, although this stamp costs $ 15, in 2009 it is not clear to Ukrainians why they also cost 16 and not 15 Doll.

SETTLEMENT. Brought to the hotel, settled in 2 hours, in a two-room "family", they said that there were no free standards, they promised to move on the second day... they moved, in one building on the 1st floor they gave 2 "standards". There was one drawback in our room - huge ants. The children had ants in the room + the sewerage stank. This is building 24.
HOTEL. Mamluk is constantly overpopulated, so there is no time to make repairs, since 2007 everything is not so fresh and already.
The advantage is that the nearby Sunrise Garden Hotel with all the infrastructure is available to Mamluk residents. The garden is fresher, more cheerful and renovated.
Nutrition. The minibar is free for the first time, then only water. Restaurants. You will not be hungry, but without frills. For the first time I saw that there were no cuts for breakfast, only a guy was standing at the refrigerator with sausage and cheese and cut into a couple of pieces. It is enough, but somehow unusual... There is a cafe on the beach, where from 10.00 all drinks, from 12.00 hamburgers, french fries, sweets and fruits. We went to dine at the GARDENA restaurant because it is closer to the beach. A la carte restaurants are all free by appointment (both Garden and Mamluk) Were in Italian, on the territory of Gardena... I didn’t like it, to be honest . .
The beach and the sea. There were no complaints about the sea until the last day, when a bunch of garbage, packages, and it’s not at all clear what washed up on the shore. they say that sometimes they drop off excursion boats.
On the beach for all 8 days there was murderous oriental music (ONE AND THE SAME !!!!!! ) from a broken tape recorder... I withstood such a howl for 3 days, then I got indignant and the sound was made quieter... but they didn’t turn it off.
CONCLUSION. Egypt is becoming more expensive, but does not mean that it is better. The quality and quantity of services and service is declining....
We will think very much whether to go to Egypt next time at all...
There will be questions, write
