We rested in Egypt (Hurghada) from 11/10/09 to 11/16/09. It was the first time in Egypt, and I want to say that I just fell in love with this country. I liked everything: the most beautiful sea, amazing underwater world, kind open people, beautiful weather. We flew by Transaero, Boeing-747 aircraft. The pilots are just great, takeoff and landing were very soft. Flight attendants are nice girls. Vouchers were bought from Capital tour. I read a lot of negative reviews about this company, but everything went smoothly for us. We were met at the airport, placed in a hotel, held a meeting, where everything was explained in detail. The guide was at the hotel every morning and evening. Transfer from the hotel to the airport was also on time. We bought excursions not from a guide, but from SAIF TOURS (I found their phone number on the Internet). I want to say that the tours cost me almost 2 times cheaper than the hotel guides, and we all went together. Since we had little time, we took 2 excursions - a boat trip and a motorcycle safari. Delighted with both.
Well, a few words about the hotel. We took trips to King tut. At the reception, I immediately asked for a room in the Sphinx, paid extra $ 75 (this is the official fee) and got a good room with a sea view. The room was cleaned well and the sheets were changed every day. Left a $1 tip. I also liked the food. There were no gastrointestinal problems. There were many fruits and sweets. All hotel staff are very friendly. But the hotel is new and does not pull 5 stars yet. In some places in the room, instead of light bulbs, wires stick out, in the shower the faucet handle fell off, but the truth was that they came the next day and did it. But we did not pay attention to such trifles. We enjoyed our stay and we liked everything.
