Средненький отель, но отдых в общим понравился Average hotel but overall good stay

Just returned with my wife from Hurghada. Hotel Sphinx is more or less worth the price paid. The food seems to be enough. It could be more diverse, but we don't pay much attention to it. In Hurghada, you can easily buy and fry seafood at the market, or go to the vegetable market in the old city, go to the Sheraton, or just walk around and buy everything around the hotel. There are fewer corals than in Sharm, but there are a lot of fish - there is also a sea snake, in short, there is something to see. The sand on the beach is packed, the entrance to the sea with stones at the bottom is not very convenient. On the left is a pontoon from which you can jump or use a ladder. But we are more interested in travel, so we do not complain.
This time we decided to go to Cairo, look at the pyramids, and at the same time visit Alexandria. We found the Chiba or Mido Chiba travel agency closest to the hotel (but for some reason the site is called sphinx-tour. com : ) ) - only 100m on the left side of the hotel. The trip was great. In the evening in Cairo, we were accommodated in a ship-hotel with dinner and an entertainment program, a room overlooking the Nile, I didn’t even expect it. In the morning we went to Alexandria by car with an individual guide - just super! In addition, they then ordered more diving from them, after which the manager Mido offered us a free tour of Hurghada. I didn’t really want to go, but strangely enough, it was interesting - we didn’t go shopping, but to interesting places, in general I really liked it.
In general, the rest turned out to be rich, there are a lot of impressions. All five points.

Yes, I almost forgot. During my stay at the hotel I had a birthday. They gave me a cake : ) , danced in front of me and sang a song. It was nice.
At Christmas (Catholic, Dec 24) and New Year the staff did a great job, there was fresh fish, crabs, salmon, sea eel. And the decor was top notch.
