Не самый удачный отель. Not the best hotel.

We were led to praise the tour operator, it’s a pity that we didn’t read the reviews from the very beginning, so now we decided to write ourselves, maybe someone will be better prepared than we are. We flew to Egypt for the first time, we specially chose a 5 * hotel, but in fact it doesn’t pull even about five, even for a very budget one. Maybe in the season itself it will be at least better with animation and food, but at the moment everything looks very sad. We arrived before lunch, the hotel was about 11 hours. We know that check-in at the hotel takes place at 2 pm, but at least they put on bracelets... no, nothing like that! Or pay and get both a number and bracelets, or sit and wait for the settlement. And not just as a suggestion, but as a given. We decided to give money and start to relax, but believe me, $ 30 is not worth it at all. And especially for lunch. We were given a number right away, for a surcharge we literally begged for a good number. We were given a room with a partial view of the sea and the pool. The room is already seasoned, furniture, appliances, plumbing, everything is beat up. I won’t say that it’s completely dead, everything worked, except for the remote control. But we did not come to watch TV, so we did not insist much, although it was not very pleasant. Now on to the food, it consists mainly of various salads, potatoes, beans and chicken. Beef and fish was only a few times. There were almost no fresh ordinary vegetables, I generally keep quiet about fruits. But the most interesting, if I may even put it that way, happened with the drinks. Everything was poured into tiny plastic cups, for a couple of sips. But this is not the worst. On the very first day, we came across the glasses with traces of lipstick and someone's fingers. It’s good that the city is nearby, we bought two mugs for ourselves, and then they asked us to pour drinks in them. The best thing about the hotel is the location. The city, cafes that just saved, the old city, the fish market where you can order fresh shrimp, fruit cheaply, so it was the location that saved the situation. Of course, we took excursions, everything was very pleasant. It was very lucky that in the reviews we found a recommendation for a local cami tour company, you can easily find it by name through Yandex. Their prices are three times cheaper than taking from a hotel guide. The service is excellent everything is very well organized. The Russian-speaking guide told everything in detail and very interestingly. He even gave useful advice about the country. By territory, it consists of connected neighboring hotels. There are two different beaches, one is sandy and gentle, near the neighboring one, the second is rocky and the depth is greater, near ours. Both territories are small, there are several slides, but more for children. The pools are icy, the hotels do not have much greenery. Take warm clothes with you, it was cold in the evenings. Swimming is not so cold, but you need to go out immediately wrapped in a towel. The sunbeds on both beaches are so scary that you don’t really want to sit on many. The beach towels are the same as the sunbeds. In general, only because of the location and low cost I put a three, although I advise you to look for some other hotel.
