To begin with, when reading the negative reviews of other tourists, I always thought that they find fault, dissatisfied with life in general, and in general, everything should be seen as positive and nothing more. But after visiting the Sphinx hotel, I realized how wrong I was. . . After reading positive reviews, looking at beautiful pictures on the internet, and even after listening to the praises of the travel agent, I thought that the hotel was very personal, but when I arrived there, I was immediately disappointed in my choice. . . For starters, the Sphinx hotel does not have its own entrance, we had to enter through the King Tut hotel, the windows of which, apparently, are never washed (and why is it asked) About the fact that we have a room with a sea view, of course, at the reception they knew and gave us rooms (we were with friends) with a view of some kind of lame type of decoration (as they themselves call it - it's something like a mountain with artificial palm trees and flamingos), but this is all nonsense compared to what the rooms have rusty plumbing, the furniture is just falling apart and the safe does not work! And this is considering the fact that the hotel opened in 2009, that is, a year ago! From the second call, the rooms became better and of course with a surcharge. In restaurants, the food is the same every day - in the morning - scrambled eggs and pancakes, in the afternoon - pasta and soup with alphabet noodles, in the evening - liver, an incomprehensible type of mashed potatoes and stuff like that.... Saved only vegetables that had to go to wash in the toilet, because they were all in the sand. The animators did nothing, aqua aerobics is the same every day, belly dance, volleyball and that's it! I am generally silent about evening programs.... One and the same person and animator and host, and as it turned out, a fakir))))) Who, by the way, later sold us alcohol in bottles. There are programs in a club that does not belong to the all-inclusive system, and this despite the fact that this is the only entertainment facility for 2 hotels !! ! Half of the people there are the local population, which behaves very arrogantly, and if something is wrong, they will take you out, not them.... Further on the theme of the sea - the beach is shallow, the sand is disgusting, next to the beach (if you look at the sea, then on the right) there is a half-garbage dump, a half-abandoned coast, which clearly spoils the whole picture. As for the garbage heap - it just surrounds the hotel))))) If you go up to the roof of the King Tut hotel, you can clearly see it)))) Now the pools - they were never really cleaned during the entire stay, and the only heated pool broke down on the second day of stay and it was never fixed before we left. Well, the apogee of our stay was that on the way to the airport, when checking documents-money-phones, it turned out that money had been stolen from us and my sister, located just 4 rooms away! The safe did not work for us, due to which the money was securely hidden, as it seemed to us, but no.... In addition to the fact that the money was stolen, it was very unpleasant that they dug into my personal things. We have been in Egypt for the 4th time already and therefore I can say with confidence that it is not worth going to this hotel, just spend your nerves and money! I apologize in advance if there are any errors in the review, I hope it will be useful when choosing a hotel, thank you for your attention.
