TO Tui, we chose an early arrival and a late departure, but shortly before our vacation everything changed for us, and we flew to the hotel only at the end of dinner, and we were immediately sent to a restaurant, and then checked into the hotel. We rested with a child, so I'm just over 20 at. e. (even a receipt was issued), agreed on a two-room suite. We were given a room in building 4, which is near the water park on the 5th floor. The room is spacious, everything worked, but the view from the large room, where the balcony was, was on a construction site, and from the small window they looked out onto the slides. But given that it is winter, we did not sit on the balcony, but only dried things, so this is normal, but once again during the day we did not want to look out of the window. The entrance to the second room is through an arch, without a door. It was cool in the room, the air conditioner worked poorly, but it was very warm in the small bedroom.
A good cleaner: the lamp was not on - he brought an electrician, they fixed the switch, the toilet staggered - they cemented it, the TV did not turn on - he replaced the batteries in the remote control, twisted butterflies, crocodiles ...As already mentioned, the problem with hot water is sometimes cold, sometimes there is no pressure, and the shower is nailed to the ceiling. It was difficult to wash the child, I had to draw warm water into the kettle and bathe her like that.

The hotel itself is 2 in 1 - the old buildings, this is King Tut, and the newer ones are the Sphinx. Both receptionists worked, but we only contacted King Tut (for example, we ordered a lunch box). During the rest period, we saw Kristina, the administrator, only at the gala dinner, there were questions, but every day they said “come tomorrow, after 12” ...A la carte restaurants are one name, thematic dinner, oriental and Chinese, there was no Italian , buffet in a restaurant on the beach, the choice of dishes is small.
They came only to sit in silence, without the hustle and bustle that was in an ordinary restaurant. There were cats that, surreptitiously under the table, could jump to their knees with their paws with sharp claws, scare and scratch.

We mostly visited the Sphinx restaurant, it is closer to us, stayed on the beach for lunch, ate fast food - pizza, french fries, hamburgers, there were also vegetables, fruits and sweets ....There were not enough fresh cucumbers and tomatoes , there was ice cream, but tasteless, just frozen water.
Sweets were sometimes very tasty, I liked chocolate spheres with nuts, chocolate bunnies. Jelly, fruits were also enough - dates, guava, oranges, bananas, apples. I didn't like the coffee in the hotel. Terrible alcohol - everything tastes the same, you order brandy, rum, whiskey, vodka - all with the same taste and smell of terrible moonshine.
The beer is bitter, somehow diluted with a sprite, then it turned out to be a beer mix, and so people diluted non-alcoholic beer with alcoholic beer. White wine is more or less drinkable.

You can’t bring your own alcohol to the New Year’s Gala Dinner, everyone was checked at the entrance, if they found a bottle, they were asked to pay 5 c. u. e. for each, so the people were very nervous and indignant. The celebration of the New Year began at 18-30, in a tent near our building, behind the water park. Long before the opening, a lot of people gathered in front of the entrance, we barely got into our building to change clothes. Everything was beautifully and festively decorated, the choice of dishes was good - huge cakes, seafood, a lot of meat dishes, songs, live music, dancing, a mini disco with Santa Claus, who then gave gifts to children (masks, hoops, cars), but to Unfortunately, not all the children had enough of them, so it was not without tears. There was a huge queue for all the dishes. By 22:00, everything had already been removed.

Waiting for midnight was tiring, many had dinner left. In general, we were satisfied with the celebration. Even the daughter of the owner just had a birthday, the whole hotel congratulated her, they took out a huge cake, she solemnly cut it and the cake was taken away. ))

Since the prices for Egyptian hotels are very high for the New Year holidays, and the weather is not very, whatever one may say - winter, we decided not to overpay and therefore chose the budget Sphinx. For a gala dinner, when booking, they paid extra 50 USD. e. per person, child free of charge. The tour cost us 2 + 1 for 8 nights 1300 USD. e. (I think it's a little expensive for such a hotel). The sea was cool, +20, it’s difficult to enter, but when you swim through, you don’t want to leave. Heated water park, but very weak, the child only had fun in it twice. You can’t swim in it - you moved out and out. And in the children's part of the pool with small slides, the water was cooler. The rest of the pools are cold, so it was not possible to swim.
In the cold pool there are balls for walking on the water, the child liked it. Price 3-5 at. e. 10-20 minutes. They ride a camel around the territory, in the morning they ask for 7 c. u. That is, and in the afternoon, when the owner of the camel leaves, you can ride for half the price. It’s the same with weaving braids - an intermediary walks along the beach and offers services, but if you go directly to the master’s salon after dinner, you can bring down the price well. The hotel has a pharmacy, not expensive. We bought face masks from Mukhamed, where perfumes and oils are, he makes trial ones, tells which and when to apply on the face, treats him to tea and hookah, also bargain, they dropped the price by half.

There is a children's club on the territory, but it works from 10 to 11-30 in the morning, then they watch a cartoon, then they draw. On New Year's Eve, animator Ira painted the faces of all the children who wanted to. In the evening there is a mini disco, there was a mini Miss contest, all participants received diplomas signed by the owner of the hotel. All children were satisfied.
There are two playgrounds and a mini zoo. Beautiful lighting in the evening.

Evening shows are held outside, in a covered tent, but when there was a strong wind, it was not very comfortable to sit. The bar there is paid, in addition to cocktails they sell cotton candy and popcorn, 1 c. u. each. e. He also works at King Tut Beach during the day. By the way, the places on the beach were always free, almost no one rested near the pontoon of the Sphinx on the windy beach. They also give surfing lessons on the beach, the first trial lesson is free, for 5 days they asked for 60 USD. e. , but it was offered to us late, we were already leaving. There is a massage, 1 session 10 USD. That is, but you can bargain for a few and masks are made for free.

Opposite the hotel there is some kind of children's amusement park, a supermarket a little to the right, mini markets where they sell fruits, teas, etc.
If you walk a little to the left of the hotel, about 20 minutes, then there will be the SUNNY DAYS EL PALACIO RESORT & SPA hotel, it is clearly visible from the beach, we rested in it in February, but we still liked it more and the territory and food and service.

It was our first experience of a threesome holiday with a child (previously we had a rest together - with a daughter or with a husband) and for the first time celebrated the New Year in Egypt - everything went well, unconventionally and interestingly. We rested, celebrated, got new emotions and impressions.
